Booked in at Hotel Castillio Oct 27 to Nov4 for $34.00 per night, taxes included plus breakfast. Darren and his staff are just some of the most hospitable and friendly group around.

I just checked and the del Rey is booked up 100%
the Sportsmans lodge is 100% booked
I am guessing near-by places that are guest friendly are also booked.
OMG, I am not sure I can get a room if i buy a flight !
I am not staying at the El Presidente or the Holiday Inn Aurola for sure!
Maybe I will hang with the TVs in the Moranz park or something LOL.
A trip to Jaco maybe, and do a $150 stay at the copa cabana. and trole the Beetle BAr.

Thats right around Halloween (10/31) - for whatever reason(s) - actually, places like Sportsmans and HLH have costume parties; the girls love dressing up, etc - its become a really popular holiday for Americans to travel to CR.

That would probably account for the difficulty you had in getting reservations.

Coming in Oct 24th with a couple of wings. Staying at La Amistad the 24th and 25th then off to Jaco for the 26th (Friday night, 1 nught only) and staying at Cocal, We head back to San Jose for Saturday night and all the festivities! Will be staying at Hotel Castillo. Definitley the top time of the year in CR as seen in the difficulty getting rooms. I got on it a few months in advance and still had trouble. IMO, CR is a better Halloween destination than Medellin so after a years absence, I will return and be at SL's and DR's parties!

Pura Vida,

Jac

Doing a solo trip from October 13 through the 29th. Usually stay at the Sportsmens but took too long to pull the trigger on the reservation so I am going to be at the Castillo. I've stayed there before for a couple of nights and always liked the service. Looks like the Castillo is full too so hopefully the outside bar will be open. I'll see you all down there.

HD43,
Question for you, Saturday night, what costume will you be wearing? I havent decided yet, either a pimp, a soldier, a pirate or a baseball player were a few I was considering.
Hope to catch up with you,

Jac

Monkey Business.... I like it but i'd bet the chicas won't have a clue! LOL Hell, I had to explain in Medellin what a pimp was and they still didnt fully understand! ;-)

As for the tang, I will likely start at SL then on to DR just to see the different costumes and chicas. I fly out at noon Sunday so an all nighter may be the way to go to get that last action the morning I leave. If I'm with my Fav then it's a done deal but if not then i'm a play it by ear kind of guy so we'll see. Seems like something always falls in my lap, luck of the Irish I guess. jajaja

C ya in October!!!

Pura Vida,

Jac
