Was at Casa Ponte around 2 months ago. They have a friendly guest policy, there is a security guard 24 hrs that is there to checks ID's at the gate. Are you guys renting out the entire place or just one of the houses? We ended going to cocal for all 4 nights we were there, it was the most consistent place. Quality fluctuated but there was always a good number of girls working. You will have a concierge that comes with the house. We wanted to have a mid-day pool party and they helped us find a large group to come over and hang out with us by the pool. Casa Ponte was one of the nicest houses ive been in, im sure you'll have a great time

Smart route to go with the house. That should elevate the partying to the next level.

Aw, let the poor Phucker have his fantasy - while his reality will be far different than his current perception, let him dream.

Just have the balls to post as to what really happened - I suspect (know) its going to be different than what he thinks..........

Just watch the security and you are going to have a blast. Girls do things in houses they might be inhibited to do in a hotel. Lot of crazy parties like this around town and the guys never even make it to the bars. Find the right girl, a spotter, on your first day and you can really be set. Not easy to find though. Most are too busy trying to hustle you out of a buck when they could make 5 just being straight with you. Tell spotter up front you aren't hiring her to support her ugly, fat ass friends. You want quality and will turn any fugly away that she brings you and terminate her arrangement. Find the right mama san and she will take care of security too.

Hey brothers,

Heading to Jaco in about a month. Anyone know is the Beatle Bar still dead. I heard about this but found it hard to believe. Last time I was there about a year ago there was at least 100 ticas there.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thx!

GM

Lets start your help with this: "Tica" simply means female Costa Rican - not another word for whore - don't use it in that manner; highly offensive to Costa Ricans (easy to see why) and really marks you as someone without a clue - you might also want to read this thread, as guys like Puravidatransport already posted some answers to your question   :P

Location: San Ramon, C.R. Had clients visit the Beetle Bar both Fri and Sat night last week and said it was dead. Free cover hasn't lured anyone back it seems but it probably will as the bar itself is pretty nice, especially if they get the pole dancers going again. Might be worth sticking your head in but doubt it will be back to the 'hub' of the action anytime soon.

Monkey Bar has been hit or miss with mostly late night action. Lot of the girls will also show up at 'The Loft' (big pink building downtown, can't miss it) later at night as well. Cocal is definitely 'the place' right now.

For zip lines, the Los Suenos canopy tour is my recommendation unless your really physically fit and enjoy a more 'rapid' decent. That one is located just before you get to Playa Hermosa, on the beach side just past the last mountain curve. Not recommended for anyone not in peak physical condition.

ATV tours I recommend the place just east of KFC (on that side street) about 30 meters. Nice waterfall on their tour...

Fishing, not real up on thanks to my seasickness, but plenty of places that book trips in Jaco. Shop around and bargain with them, might be a deal but be prepared for some steep prices.

While in that area, always a good idea to go on down to Manuel Antonio. Might even do the ATV tour there as there are some good ones not to mention the beautiful beaches where you can actually swim in the Pacific, the plentiful and usually good places to eat and the wildlife. It is also the jumping off point for many white water rafting trips.

Edited to add: If you like wildlife and want some good pictures of monkeys, sloths, different birds, iguanas and maybe some deer, I always recommend hiring a guide to take you through the back road of Manuel Antonio. Those guys know where the animals are and carry a spotting scope that they can take pictures through. They also explain a lot of interesting things on the hour or so walk. Especially with a group, bargain with them. They may want $20 each but with a group, I'd go no more than $60 or so...

Not gonna read the whole thread GM so this might have been mentioned. Go to the Cocal. It seems as there is no reason to go to Beatle Bar anymore as there are plenty to be found at Cocal, Monkey Bar and most all of the bars in Jaco.

Might, TW    :P :?: :?: :?:

The cut and paste above was mentioned, on August 20th - I don't say everyone has to read a whole thread, but if you are going to ask a question, one that was already answered, I just think you should - just sayin' :)
