What is with the airlines prices from Chicago..

Paid $ 307 in January '05...$ 337 in April '05

Searching all of the airlines for June, July and September, can't find anything without overnight layovers for less than $475.00. anyone else having the same problems or are the Airlines finally figuring us out and raising the prices dramatically....

Thanks

CG

Thanks Florida

was also checking last mnute specials in May and same rates, as well as September...I know they will come down for the Sept fares but the current and last minute (where you can usually get decent rates before school lets out) are ridiculous.

Will be keep looking for Trip #3 of '05

Pura Vida

I went out of DFW on Delta a month ago today for a total of 318 bucks. Bought the ticket 3 weeks prior to leaving. Since then the same flight has been 500 + bucks. Yesterday, the same flight dropped down to 328 bucks for June 1 -8. Of course, I bought a ticket for trip #2.

Keep checking.

Berk.....

CG..I'm having the same problem. I just paid $450 for my trip in early June. Can't find anything for under $480 right now. Sucks...but, I agree with the others...keep looking.

I found some decent airfares for later this year (December) on America West. The only problem is you have to connect in Phoenix.

This yahoo website was posted before, and there are some real good prices listed.

I have been in May of 2003 and 2004 and never paid over $400

Sometimes the airfare specials last only a few hours. It is best to check on Wednesday mornings after 3am
