I will be visiting in September and wanted to book with HLH. I've sent a PM to Greg but no response yet. I called today and no one who
could speak english was available. Not a good start. I was wanting to know if they have safes and refrigerators in the rooms. I have been
to HLH before and cannot remember if they have a restaurant? Also are they still running the birthday special? I'd like to book but really
want these questions answered first. Thanks for your help.

HLH has a U.S. phone number that is promptly answered during the day, usually by Iveth with good English. I've never used it at night, so I don't know about that.

786.467.0378.

Keypad safes are in each room. Some rooms have refrigerators....... you'll have to ask which ones. The birthday special is ongoing, as are all other specials according to Greg's post on this board. The kitchen is open again with the twin Columbian cooks and even some guests doing their usual magic.
The most awesome magician in the house, of course, is Karen.

Dude, Relax. HLH is a Hotel/Bar in addition to short term room rental location that attracts local girls in Central America not the Hilton.

Today is Friday. Anyone that speaks English is helping guests/patrons that are there right now. You acting way too stressed.

I would seriously suggest you edit your Subject Topic and delete "problems". You are being extremely unfair defaming them.

I have an HLH question ... no offense, just curious ...

Are the Colombian cooks on the menu?

One thing the Hilton and HLH have in common is they both are in the business to make money. I frequent HLH frequently and have confidence in the quality of services but...... I have to agree, calling and getting anyone who speaks English, in a establishment that caters to English Speaking customers would be a red flag for me. No problem with the subject or questions.

While I understand your questions, I fail to see the "problem". Sounds more like a minor inconvenience.

Call HLH again until you get someone with whom you can communicate. Or read Rac's informative post.

they are in a transitional period as well. if you were not aware somehow they just lost their manager and some things may need fine tuning. but by all indications it is worth the effort. i would not know since i never stayed there but obviously quite a few posters on this board are happy repeat clients.

I apologize for the slow response to Myrtle Golf. I Have been a bit overwhelmed with all the new messages and changes.

I didn't realize monitoring the CRT board is a full time job in itself ha-ha.

It is true , after Iveth leaves and if I am not around to answer the phone sometimes the night guards do not speak English. I just hired another receptionist who will start this week should remedy this problem. I apologize for this as we need someone during business hours that speaks English.

All the rooms have safes

Only the suites have refrigerators , plans are for fridges in all the rooms down the road.

We do have a restaurant open from 9 to 9 run by 2 great twin Colombian cooks. They are both single ... excellent chicken parm among other things.

I will try to improve on responding to IM's. I am a bit behind answering all the questions/concerns.

Our website www.littlehavana.com is a great way to look at the rooms and also make reservations. Iveth gets back to you fairly quickly with questions you may have.

Thanks, Greg

Greg, don't fret, Most of us are accustomed to Latin America time and relaxed culture. There are no actual " Problems " in this thread.

I went to Nicaragua last year and guess what ? It took more than one phone call to secure my reservation at the Cristo Rey Hotel. *** and I didn't come here blasting the Cristo claiming " PROBLEMS " just cause I got a night guard without the reservations book in hand. *** Absoultly Fuccking Astounding !

I'll bet this poster will be your biggest fan after he actually stays at your hotel.

Done.

I changed it to this.

HLH is a Hotel/Bar in addition to short term room rental location that attracts local girls in Central America - not the Hilton.

Thanks for helping me cure my error.

Greg, thanks very much for your pm and response herein. I look forward to booking with you on line later today.
As to Icantstayaway, KMA. I don't know who made you king for a day but not having an email contact
on their web site or having someone available to speak to customers in english is a problem for me. I would
hope Greg would like to be made aware of issues from soon to be customers and likely not be offended by
that information. You the one that needs to chill.
