Last night I was at the SL. I stepped outside for a few minutes while waiting for someone. All of a sudden a group of twenty somethings (my guess is that there were 150 of them) came walking up the street with 3 cops on bicycles. The taxi guys and smokers had no idea who or what they were. There was a smaller group (about 25-30 of them) at the Del Rey a few weeks ago. They stood out front like they were protesting Phucking or something. Last night was different as they kept walking with a guide leading them like a tour group

It could have been the local "Beso Diverso" group dedicated to protecting the rights of different kinds of couples to kiss....they have protested at such places as that fine and venerable dining establishment, Chelles, (a "decent place" where it is assured "the Lord will rebuke the devil" - in the words of the manager).

this may be a good time to repent or something....you never know.

did you wave at them first?

Occupy Wall Street on their Central American Tour - the 99% protesting the monger movement.

I was there with VB out front of the SL when the massive group came walking up the street. The 15 or so girls out front having a smoke quickly scurried back inside to hide. After reading about the local catholics & evangelicals protesting starting sex ed in the schools I thought maybe it was them out to protest the den of sinners in the SL. But alas they walked on by & continued an innocent walking tour of Barrio Amon.

when i first set foot in SL in early 07 they used to have older women come in and talk to the girls that were working. tell them they had options. not sure if they still do that.

Well, that perfectly well explains why they were 10 blocks away and up a steep hill from his biz place. What's that song? "Besame mucho ...mi Culo". No link for this.

Last night I saw some crowds walking. They were doing their pilgramage to Catargo. Is it possible that the group I saw Saturday night in front of the SL was somehow tied into that.

Very possible. Many started their pilgrimage a week ago.
