The Giant was last seen leaving the premises with a large, rectangular gym bag. many thought it was part of his "BK Weight Loss Challenge" regiment. Until the deposits went missing..................

Good Luck and Good Bye Boyd - All the posters have every right to post their opinions on BK TUNA. We had to endure countless posts on how the Dunn Inn screwed this "fine CRT brother." Some CRT "GOODFELLAS" even called for a boycott of the Dun Inn out of respect for this honorable man (count the Dunn Inn bashing posts -I'm sure they are pretty close to "don't bash Boyd").

We then had to endure countless posts how great Boyd is and how great the HLH is with him there. I call BS - the place was never as good as when it was ZONA BLUE with Eddie managing it and stars like Natasha, Cindy Karen etc. 2005-2007. (sorry I digress).

We then had to endure "free advertising" from the Boyd followers on how great HLH was under his watch 9it was nauseating - it almost felt like he was so great he would wipe you ass for you). I only met this guy a few times and have nothing good or bad to say. I don't give a shit what he did - he's gone.\

The purpose of this post is just to say BKTUNA prospered by this site with free kudos from all his followers and now he is open to whatever wrath he faces. BKTUNA made HIMSELF a public figure on this board and with that goes to positives and negatives.

That hits the nail on the head

MPs are ment to be on the down low... Yes HLH is abit more than your average MP

I thought that I knew BK well... 8) another story. I too got sick of the self promotion of the place.

I hope the other owners endure, bet they will and good luck

Make the entry nicer and sell a $6.00 sub for 6 bucks :D

I keep getting sent the emails....but without the headers. Turning on headers isn't a big deal....but for guys who are not used to looking at them, it's appearing to be a bit daunting.....still....I am convinced I'll some headers to look at here "shortly" ("soon come" in Jamaican).....and I'll post the location(s). Patience my friend....patience.....

You guys are speculating on information based from rumors. The rumor stated here is fifty grand, that could be 5 grand. Things in Costa Rica always get obscured from the original facts. This is a RUMOR !

I work on math, not emotion. The HLH was dead before Boyd took it over. The turnaround he did would be worth a lot. If he was a 1/4 owner, he would have money coming to him to walk away. If I was a part owner, I'd be ecstatic to pay someone to walk away. But this is not for us to speculate. The other 3 owners have that responsibility.

I say, leave Boyd in peace and support the HLH as you would regardless of who the owner is.

P.S. One time I waved at Eddie and he did wave back.

Does that include a Mercedes Benz driven to Panama and sold as owned; cash pocketed; etc.?

Icantstayaway.....you like to be gone from your crib for...oh....3 days....to come back and find your Mercedes Benz is no longer in the garage and you're advise a few days later it "MAY" have been driven to Panama and "sold".....no papers necessary, of course.....for cents on the dollar?

I too "....work on math....". The above equates to BAD MATH which in turn equates to BAD MOJO....which in turn equates to "contracts".....but what do I know? I'm just a "....tin foil hat wearing nerd....". hahahahahahahahaahhaahah :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :) :D  :P

What if the Giant's "equity money" to be a partner in the business came from another partner as a loan? i.e no skin in the game to be "owed"

Steve, I've never crossed a border with a car, but don't you need some form of ownership or something?

I doubt Boyd had any real money; his contribution was sweat equity i.e. managing the place for a salary and an equity position (which unless you are the majority shareholder in any small, closely held company, you have zero real power, and can be gone almost like any other employee)

I don't disagree with what Broadway wrote, and have no dog in this fight - However, I will say the following:

I thought Boyd did a great job managing HLH - seriously; he seemed sharp and very customer focused - I too from time to time got sick of the seemingly endless kudo's surrounding the place on CRT, but also feel that if guys liked the place, and they did, were free to say whatever positives they wished about the hotel, girls, Boyd's management

I thought he was very foolish to blow it the way he did
(regardless of what actually happend, he is unlikely to return - God, some of us go out of our way to blow our own happiness...truly) - seemed the dream gig - good job, some power, lots of loyality and equity to boot - regardless, I wish him well and hope half the stuff floating around is not true.
