Pure BS. Dig deeper and obtain the FULL HEADERS. I'm not going to walk anybody through this simple operation: Using the web based Yahoo Email page does NOT obscure, hide, or stop the sending of th originating IP or anything else. Gmail does NOT send out header data nor does
http://www.hushmail.com and many others......but....trust me on this......Yahoo does!
In fact, given headers from this "secret squirrel" web based Yahoo system to even another web based browser system, I'll be able to identify ALMOST the house/bldg. where it's being sent from. I'll be able to provide you the longitude and latitude coordinates. Somebody PM me the headers, I'll provide the intel. If you don't know how to view/obtain/see the headers, I'll walk you through how to expose them so they are viewable. It isn't rocket science: Most web based services don't provide full headers because people don't want to see all that gibberish is all. It's part of the "service".....but provide them they do....you just have know which box to check.....UNLESS you're using gmail or hushmail or
http://www.safe-mail.net/ or some of the other outfits that are out there; these outfits DO "hide"/"obscure"/simply do not provide email headers. However, Yahoo! DOES provide all headers and the route the email takes. It is what it is.
I really don't care where Bktuna is....for me this stuff is all ENTERTAINMENT and one big show. It also underscores and validates my assertions for the longest of time that BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING. Not the one on the tv show....the guy paying my rent kinda sorta......hahahahahahahahahhaa
EDIT PURPOSE: CLARIFICATION: The email header issue with gmail and the other two I named (there are heaps more) do NOT send OUT your header data. Gmail et all will RECEIVE incoming header data, of course. That is to say: If you want to cloak the location fo where you are .....get a gmail.com email address and send your emails from that account. I assure you that gmail does NOT send out header data....it's there.....gmail.com just elects to NOT send it. The data IS there....but gmail.com typically requires a Court order to produce/provide the full set of OUTGOING headers.....

in reference to yahoo email. Boyd uses yahoo email with a web browser. the smtp headers of the mail will not tell you where he is as the local machine that he used the browsers ip address is not liste din the headers. mearly the ipaddress of the webserver that submitted the message to the yahoo smtp server will be listed. unless someone uses outlook or outlookexpress or another pop3 imap application the local ip address of his machine wont be there.
