WRONG. NO. It pays the rent, although it is slowly coming to a halt because I am sick of all the new "PC" rules and regs.

I had once posted a picture of my satellite farm in my "Reasons" blog in smack talk. I deleted same a long time ago, goodfella.....yes indeed....I deleted that pic a long time back. *shrug*

Point of information: UNCLE SAM IS WATCHING.  :D  :P :P

Number of posts re: his disappearance is on target to take over the #1 position of most posts ever on a single subject, overtaking "Don't Pay Cien".

This is because he made alot of very good friends and over a long period of time which says alot.

Agree he made a lot of friends over the years but I think the mystery surrounding his departure and the always titillating theory's surrounding the circumstances plays a much larger role. A lot more TV shows and books on a mystery then on good friends.

A more poignant story would be what has become of his wife and daughter and what the future hold for them?

Thanks for worrying about me Seabreeze I was actually rolling on the floor LMAO after reading your comment. I have been busy making my plans for Colombia in Sept. Yes it is puzzling about what has taken
place at the HLH. As far as the Guy Grand comment , I like Guy he is a nice man. He just happens to work for some prick ass owners. I also liked all the employees at the Done Inn. One day they hopefully will sell
and the place will reach its true potential. It could be another Sportsman's or Del Rey contender. Boyd
will be O.K. I am not worried about that. There are many reasons that could be the cause for his leaving.
Bookmaking and the whole system surrounding it could make it dangerous. The corruption of policia.
Who knows some could have put out a contract on him. Remember the owner of the New Fantasy was
assassinated last year. When their is big money involved organized crime is not far behind. There have been many threats against gringos. The American businessman in Limon that had his boat stolen and
was later assassinated in Colombia. I would prefer to believe he had a good reason to leave. We may never know. In the mean time I will not be crying in my beer. I hope to see you CRT members at Halloween.

You guys really don't have anything more important to talk about? In the middle of a seminal US Presidential race? With an eco/leftist Pres. in place in CR who is guaranteed to get only more anti-us? And we're talking about a Gringo who might have absconded with some funds after a a sordid violent incident? My my. I'm guessing this has never happened before but then I lose A LOT of berts. Yeah them too but I meant BETS.

You truly are a tool.

Your boy BK got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Keep defending him with insane theories. You just look like an idiot.

Boyd responded to my email to him and he reiterated that he is in the States taking care of family problems. I am not part of the Boyd "inner circle", but I have been his customer for close to 3 years now. He did not have to respond to my email if he is flying low under the radar. Just my personal view.

Vette, glad you laughed caused I meant it as a joke, no personal stuff from me. I know you have a strong bond with Boyd, but I still like to bust your chops.

But as that old song goes (paraphrasing) "Boyd has been a bad bad man, he's bad to the bone". No speculation, no hearsay, FACT.

Cheers

All the posts and this is the first one to address his wife and daughter. Boyd seems the type of guy who will always take care of his daughter.

Over the past 1 1/2 years, ( 16 trips) I have stayed at HLH 14 weeks. Needless to say, I know the entire HLH crew very well. Boyd is a friend to many, myself included. As his friend, I can do nothing other than wish him well.
HLH will continue to improve, but as everyplace in CR, it will have its peaks and valleys.
Life is too short to discuss this any longer!
Let's put the topic of "T" back in CRT! Lol

discuss exactly what? this thread is riddled with nothing more than esoteric rhetoric and a dose of sheer innuendo. many members here have invested plenty of time supporting this hotel and simply deserve a more complete explanation. simple as that.
