Hey guys I have an impending Visa Run date later in July and was wondering if the more experienced have any recommendations on less expensive destinations that include travel to/from SJO.....I'm not sure I want to go to Nicaragua, but have tentative tickets, I can do Nicaragua, but am looking for recommendations....No Chica activity expected.

Thanks as always guys!

Pura Vida!

I've read Bocas del Toro, Panama mentioned favorably here: http://bocasdeltoro.com/
The private CR airline flies there, for those in a hurry: http://www.natureair.com/flight-destinations.aspx

I have gained considerable knowledge of Nicaragua. I liked San Juan Del Sur. Hotel $25 a night. Food very inexpensive. Not much p4p but a few chicas come out of Granada. I took my own sand to the beach and had a great time. Leon very hot but really felt safe and enjoyed the culture and traveling to the beach. Did not find or search for p4p in Leon.. Very inexpensive in Leon. Hotel $16 a night with a/c. Granada is ok too many Europeans. In Granada you must stay at Valleries for quality p4p. These suggestion I hope will
give you an insight what to expect. I rode the Chicken Buses or Shuttles everywhere which normally cost less that $2.00 to go anywhere in the Country.
