Yes, indeed, Brother Attila, though it doesn't list all the venues mentioned earlier. NOTE: click on the Restaurant logo to get straight through to the venue.

To avoid confusion, what is listed here as Flor de Loto, but with the actual name Lotus Restaurant, is not the chinese restaurant Flor de Loto that is located in Sabana Norte, tels. 2232-4652 and 2291-6868.

My error--I just didn't delve deep enough. It is to be hoped this makes up for it and nobody was led astray:
http://www.cheapfoodhere.com/costa-rica ... to-chinese << notice the 6-digit phone # on their sign?

Both Lotus and Flor de Loto are very good, but very expensive.

Had dinner last night with la senora at Flor de Loto. Dos entradas
dos platos fuertes cuatro cervezas. 22 Mil. tax and tip included.
Not that expensive.

If any Brothers have been to CASA CHINA in San Pedro, please send a PM to me.

It is the Chinese Association's restaurant, and I have a couple of questions about it after having had a fine time there a few weeks ago.

Thanks if you can.

It's a odd hearing people say the Chino food is actually good here. Real Chinese food is amazing and taste nothing like this junk. This is exactly the same stuff you get in the ghetto back in the states. Im still looking for one that stands out on the merrits of its food...8 years and still waiting. With all the Chinese folks in CR im still hopefull.

CIA fact sheet for CR has chino population at 1%.

It's a country not noted for its epicurian delights unless you like their mainstays, none of which include peapods, good beef, or other Chinese necessities we love. In CR, rice yes. Beans yes. Alot of great fresh fish, yes. I see Chinese on the sign outside and no way I am going in.

I live in a major city in norte america. Chinese is hit and miss here, even in our 127 year old Chinatown.

What is the surprise about not finding good Chinese in the Isthmus?

I usually don't like Chinese food but last Sunday my girlfriend insisted me to have dinner with her over there and i am surprised unlike previous time i just liked the food they served. That was quite healthy nutritious & up to the mark, for more info visit rx247.net.

Hey there is a Chinese restaurant on ave segunda about 50 meters east of the teatro nacional. Never caught the name but the place was frequented by many Chinese (noted each time I walk by) - does anybody know the name and has anybody eaten there? Has it been mentioned here and I just missed it?
