I have to send Kudo's ourt to the staf at the Faro's Restaurant directly across from the Hotel Morazan....

Can not say enough good things about the Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with Mushroom Sauce or the Striped Sea Bass with a Palm Heart Hollandaise Sauce......YUMMMMM.....

I do not think enough or our CRT bretheren have found this place yet, as it was mostly Tico's eating there on our two trips there.

Faros is a great spot for the lunch casada (special). Choice of pork, chicken, beef or fish with rice & beans, salad, plantain, small desert and natural beverage for 1200 colones ($2.50). Served with a smile by mostly english speaking employees.

Think the main reason you usually see more ticos than gringos in the place at lunch is not because gringos are not familiar with it but more likely Ticos on their lunch break know it a good cheap speedy place for lunch.

Love Faro's! We went for dinner on a couple of dates and were very well treated and received.
good food, service and ambiance. Reasonble prices too!

As I made my way to the second floor banyos I found the size of it to be less than my admirable girth. I ducked and squeezed the best I could considering the minute accomodation and finally succeeded in accompolishing my goal.

Upon exiting the itty bitty banos I ran into a chica carrying dishes back to the main floor...............crash,SLAM. alcabzam. Lots of broken dishes tumbling two flights. They were every nice about it. Said shit happens and refused my offers of compensation.

I got the girls phone number in case she was later blamed for the accident. She wasn't blamed but lucky me, I was rewarded for my consideration

Think about it! Where else in the world can you bump into a girl, cause her to break dishes, get her phone number and then have a TLN because you feel bad?

Rocco.

Did Hazel from Faro's go to SL? They supposedly have a beautiful lady of that name working there now.
