So my buddy is taking his first trip to CR in a few days before we go on our all expense government paid vacation to Afghanistan for 9 months...my buddy is 28 and is a decent looking guy (no homo)..he gets his fair share of ladies in the states. Hes going with his cousin who is 30 and this is also his first trip. Neither speaks spanish. Anyways hes worried about what the girls like...they like MONEY!!! Hes a real pretty boy but Iam too so I cant blame him. Even though its P4P I still like to look good...if the girl is attracted to you then the session could be better and you could get a good GFE.
SO I told him during the day it doesnt really matter..a tshirt and shorts will do. Now a night at the HDR is a little more. I figure we a have a plus going for us because we are young so why not use it. Shower before going to the HDR..spray on some cologne (I prefer Creed myself)...brush those teeth..and Listerine is a must. Make sure your hair is looking good...I get a haircut the day I fly to CR and I found a decent guy in San Jose last time. I dont recommend any jewlery even though I have worn mine in CR before with no issues...Im 29.. a decent built guy with alot of tattoos ( neck and hands included) so maybe that had something to do with no one trying me. My buddy is heavily tattooed as well including a giant liberty bell on his neck...we are both from North Philly. Most girls in the HDR and SL love tattoos so I told him use that to his advantage. Most of all just be a nice guy to the girls and when you walk in dont look like a newbie. Inside hes gonna be doing flips but on the outside always remain cool. If you use the same game and approach on working girls as you do for girls back home things will work for you..ok I had a few drinks tonight while writing this and Im rambling now..but look good..smell good..and be nice and you will be surprised on how things turn out. Does anybody else think that personal hygiene is an important factor when dealing with working girls?

Of course it does--in CR and everwhere. Why? Because taking care of your personal biz means you've thought about what you are doing and with whom. Puts a little pep in your step (NOT swagger, more quiet self-confidence). Could've done without the "no homo" remark as regards appearance--we're pretty much "run what you brung" here so whatever. Plus being heavily (though doubtless tastefully) tatooed is kind of a giveaway person-to-person.
I'm sure you will enjoy your time in CR and God be with you elsewhere.

BTW-your appearance in terms of hygiene matters, not so much appearance as far how handsome you think you are. Think about it, would any chica rather go with a clean cut, fresh smelling man or a bad breath, sweaty, smelly, drunk?

Hygiene, social skills, appearance and youth matter in descending order of magnitude.

I would add MONEY, Hygiene, social skills, appearance then last youth (this can sometimes be a drawback as some women know they will have to work harder for that money).

The chief complaint (reported many times on this board) among the girls is poor hygene on the part of the guys - this - in todays world - is unbelieveable

Do you really need to be told to bathe regularly, use deoderant, and practice good oral hygene? Based on the girls comments, I guess so - but seems unbelievalbe to me

I didn't include money in my list of important factors because it is beyond obvious in a p4p situation.

Maybe so - but if they wash their bodies - as well as their clothes - problem solved!

Agree with all but one small point...don't pack a lot of short. You need shorts at the beach but in San Jose at the altitude it is at, will usually be a bit chilly to wear shorts, especially in the rainy season.
