I was lucky enough to get a trip to SJ for work but they have booked me in the Intercontinental. Does anyone know where that is in relation to all the other sites mentioned on CRT? Also, anyone know if the Intercontinental will frown upon lady visitors to my room?

It's located on the outskirts of Escazu, on the road to Santa Ana. It's also
across the highway from the Multiplaza shopping mall. Depending on the traffic, it's perhaps a twenty or thirty minute drive to the Gulch. It's one of the nicest hotels in the San Jose area. It is not chica friendly. The last I heard, they were charging a large 'guest' fee ($30 - 40?). If anyone's stayed there recently, please verify the 'guest' fee.

Thanks Tim. So I guess that means I need to take care of business after the ride into town. Aside from getting another room, MPs seem to be my only alternative - or do some of the clubs provide temporary accomodations?

I stayed there for my first trip in January of '04 for a conference. I never took a chica there after hearing bad experiences from 2 other guys at the conference. It is a high end resort type hotel w/ a lot of families. One chica I met at the BM, I took (or she took me) one block west to the Hotel Morazon and I think I paid $25 for a room for an hour or so. I have friends that have been down this same road. They too used the Morazon for the $25 dollar room. The problem they had those rooms were so busy they had to wait to let them clear out from the other guys using them which in turn they lost valuable time. Think for the difference in price you would be better off to take a second room so you don't have to deal with all that. More relaxing to me to know I can cumm & go anytime with what I find. Also those rooms get kind of sticky!!
