Police at HLH?

True or False: True.

Evidence: I was there.

It was late Monday morning. Not a big deal. Business was suspended. I saw HLH management and staff handle everything professionally. There were 3 officials that I observed. They asked questions and HLH management answered them to their satisfaction. I believe they were gone within the hour. Business resumed.

That is all.

It was not police, the clerks from the municipality came by to check our licensing which was all in order. We have an elderly neighbor who lodged a noise complaint. Once again I repeat,it was not the police or the raid. I am sure some of the clients saw the three city workers and I walking the premises. I payed the stereo onmax volume for them, that was about it. We did ask the girls to vacate the bar for a few minutes as a courtesy.

Oh! Oh! Tha'ts kinda what happenned at the DI last year. Some eco-tourists or some knuckleheads complained about the noise as guests and the DI stopped having Live Music. Can I still play my guitar on the Terrace of the Cohiba, Boyd? Now that always brings legitimate complaints from all!
