I was a veteran of CR from 1999-2006..30 trips.There have been so many changes,I feel like an old gf who once told me she was a born again virgin because she hadn't had sex in years. I feel like a newbie. Presidente was my hotel,Nashville south and NY bar were my favorite drinking spots. Like the saying goes" you can go back but you can't go home".

I'm a light sleeper and after reading up on hotels have whittled down to castillo , dunn inn, and sl. Which has least noise?
Is popeyes dad still kicking from Nashville south? "NORTH TRURO".

Castillo is the quiet one of the bunch, great staff, nice tiki style outside bar, a little older but if your looking for a place to actually sleep out of the three its the one

If you were used to Presidente ( as I was) and want quiet quality---I would stay at Dunn Inn. Sportsmans is great, if you want quiet you would have to spend $79--$109, the $59 and $69 rooms can be quite noisy. Castillo has a good location but to me ( only one mans opinion) just feels old and worn- out.
