How does mongering compare in CR, This is the first post for me, I see the photos and they are beautiful pictures. I also rank gfe as the number 1 prioity, including attitude, smile and genuine effort to be the best they can be. Also price comparison is important.
So please if you would how does Costa Rica ticas compare.

I can't speak to Cuba, but I am well versed in TJ and the rest of Mexico, Thailand, and Costa Rica. IMHO, Thailand is certainly the most desireable destination, in terms of ease of finding GFE at affordable prices. There is something about the attitudes of Thai ladies that is just unmatched anywhere else I've been. The ladies WANT to have a good time and have some type of emotional connection with the guys that they meet. This can also be found in Costa Rica, but with nowhere near the consistency that it is found in Thailand. Also, Thailand is less expensive once you are there. Of course, Thailand is much more of a hassle to get to frm the U.S, and more costly in terms of both time and money.

Costa Rica is miles ahead of TJ and the rest of Mexico as far as GFE is concerned. TJ is not about GFE. It is about high volume short duration get off and get out sex.

I have been very lucky in my travels.As someone ask me on my first trip to SJ. It is possible to compare different countries but at the same time every location I have been to has there own spice to make it a little different. In Italy nothing like cruiseing down the highway see somethhing you like pull over and do the deed in the backseat of the car.
I spent 10 days last year in Sosua DR and it had alot of memories for me that I will not forget.I guess if you have been to these places you get a general idea of what to expect, just think new country new adventures.

Just the other night I had a discussion with an amigo at the BM comparing BKK with SJO.

1st, throw out Mexico on any discussion, it's by far a last place finisher.

BKK does have many more women but not the variety of women. In SJO you can find White, brown, black, asians, big tatas, great butts, blonds, redheads, you name it, it's in SJO.

SJO is much closer

BKK is Hot and much more poluted

BKK wins on Hotels & food

Dunno about the Thai GFE being a " rare " experience , made 15 + trips and can not remember " 1 " that was not a GFE in each session , maybe cause i'm a " hansum " man IMHO Thailand is a whole different monster , it is service before $$ , Jai Dee Maak Maak goes very far...

GFE is most assuredly NOT rare in Thailand. In fact, it's almost standard.

That could be Shamas' problem. Have you seen the guy?!

In my personal experience GFE is definitely FAR more common in BKK than it is in SJO, but is still not quite 100%. You'll probably find AT LEAST a few jaded or mercenary bar girls whereever you go. For that matter, you can probably find some good guality GFE whereever you go too, though more in some places than in others (e.g not sure if that applies at all to TJ).

I wasn't going to comment because I think DMan's summary about Thailand being better and less expensive once you are there, but costlier and more time-consuming to get to, pretty much sums it all up. However, I had to jump in to rib Shamas a little and to add the comment I always advise people. If mongering is your thing, go to CR if you just have a weekend or a week, go to Rio for a week or two, but if you really want to enjoy Thailand 2 weeks just barely covers it.

My limited experience with TJ confirms what others have said here and I can't comment at all on Cuba. Does anyone out there have anything to add viz a viz CUBA compared to CR?

Cuba is different than CR in many ways. You have all looks (many blonds, some Orientals etc. & most women are available. All the food is rationed in the country except for the tourists (never saw a heavy Latina). It is a police state & the girls have to be very careful how they mix with you or they can be arrested! It is cheap for a girl 15 to 35 US. The Gov. only gives them around 25-30 US per month.

I saw many beautiful Latinas but I was not as comfortable as in CR. You see all the oppression & lifeless faces. Some like zombies to me no hope of a better life. It is a trip I think everyone should make as it is such an eye opener. I met an unbelievable blue eyed blond in a restaurant. She was maybe 22 & had such a great Coppertone tan. She was with a group of Cubans & left but smiled at me as she knew I was keeping an eye on her. As she left I thought well that’s the end of the best looking one I have seen so far but she returned as my friends & I finished our lunch. She came back this time with only a girl friend. She let me buy them drinks & we got them to sit with us. Anyway we arranged to meet at night but she said we had to be careful. I had to take her to some house that an old women had & she rented us a room for like $5. This girl was perfect in looks & very sweet but lacked that sparkle in her eye that I find in the Ticas

For me I just did not feel as relaxed in Cuba as in CR. Good thing in Cuba is there are non-pros all over the place & no crime & no aids (read about how Castro handles aids). I never once ran into a Chica I felt was hard or a pro. You feel safe from crime but fear Castors Police! You really need to speak Spanish I believe. I could talk for a month on all the things I saw. You need to get out of the tourist groups to really see what is going on. The women were some of the best looking I have seen but I didn't feel the lively spirit that the Ticas have. There is music everywhere in CR but not in Cuba & I believe this really adds a lot of life to the people. You will feel as if you were back in the 1950's when you go to Cuba as that is the time that progress stopped & oppression took over. It is safe as long as you don't get drunk or stupid!

For me I rather pay more to be with free people that are enjoying life. In CR I feel like I am sharing a good time, joint adventure with the Chicas & in Cuba I felt like I was taking advantage of oppressed Chicas. These are just my feelings as we all know YMMV!

Also I have been to Mexico multiple times & have family that lives there but I have been sick multiple times & there is just not enough risk reward ratio like CR. I find everything I need & more in CR so I feel little need to go to far from there. I will tour South America in about another year. I have been to several countries already & not one of them have served me as well as CR. We all have our things we are looking for in life & I have found what gives me the most bang for my buck in CR!

PS: US citizens that like to bash the US ought to spend some time in Cuba it has a way of keeping it all in perspective.

The best way in the world to treat a disease that we have no cure for & will not I believe in several life times too come is quarantine it & that is exactly what Castro has done. Most don't seem to mind it from what I have heard as they get more or better food than the rest of the population. They can leave to visit family but if ever caught having sex with the regular population they are not let out again. It is a simple solution that has been the most effective in the world & stopped the spread of aids.

People can argue that’s not fair Blah,BLah but what is fair about aids continuing to spread? The world bitches about the problem but Castro found the answer in his country. Every country has its good & bad points. Thank God we have our freedom to explore all these points!

I remember one night I found another very cute Cubana & we had to go to her place as you could not bring female company back to the hotels. I had a few drinks but never get drunk in a place I am not that familiar with.
It took a little time in a taxi to get to her place which I didn't like but my little head wasn't that concerned about this at that moment. Paco you should have seen her apartment!! Phucking blew me away!! No electricity so we had to do it by candle light. I spent maybe 3 hours with her. Real nice girl but I felt so bad for her that it takes the fun out of it for me.

Well it was maybe 1:30 am & I had ventured way away from my friends. Not smart but I lived to tell this story!! As I climbed down flights of stairs in the dark I was thinking HOLY SHIIT WHAT HAS ZIP JUNIOR DONE TO ME THIS TIME!! I walked out of this bombed out looking building only to see a bunch of loonatics yelling in the ally I had to go thru to make my way back to my hotel. I was alone as the Chica stayed & when to sleep. I thought what the phuck only 1 way out thru the loonies. I tend to be very fatalistic & around crazies I get crazy.

I walked right thru them like I was part of the neighborhood & no one bothered me. I was amazed & after walking thru a maze I found my way to the ocean front & could see my hotel & it looked really little as it was a long way off! As I walked & was surprise I was still alive I had a serious talk with junior zip. & said I would never let him take these risks again (the time with her was great BUT???). I had to walk forever it seemed like. I wanted a new bicycle from Santa like you couldn't imagine, there were no taxis at this hour forget it. Finally an Old Russian Lata was coming down the road & I waived & hoped I was doing the right thing.

I only saw one head & felt better about this. This Cuban guy about 30 asked if I needed a ride which I said thanks & hopped in. He had his hand bebopin on the dash with his little AM radio at full blast. We where talking about BS & then he asked the question where are you from?? I said the UNITED STATES. You should have seen the look on this guys face. I thought his teeth where going to fallout!! He hit the brakes & it was something!! He said what??? How the hell are you here when we want to go there so bad! He had never met a gringo before.

I think I was stupid again & should have said I was Canadian. Many Italians & Canadians there. We sped off again to my hotel as this guy looked dumb founded, he just kept shaking his head. I don't think he could believe where he found me amongst the regular people. I was just happy I wasn't going to have to walk anymore. I gave him $10 for his efforts & that blew him away. We were both happy & I was happy to have survived my ordeal. I found out later that I really was never in danger probably as Castro has eliminated the violent street offenders. Guess many reside in the US now?

Cuba is an experience of a life time!!!!!!!!!! Don't miss it!! Not just for the Chicas but whooh!!

You might want to try staying in a Casa Familiar next time (those are homes of private citizens who have been authorized to rent out room(s)). From what I understand, unlike the hotels, not only can you bring chicas back, but they might try to fix you up with their daughter (of course, remember only if she is over 18 ).

Thanks for the tip. I did figure this out as my trip came to an end. The room I rented was one of these Casas. The Cuban people are very good people just hope they become free soon. I never heard them complain about anything as I guess they were just to affraid to voice much of anything. We all agreed on this trip to keep it low key & not talk about any of our thoughts or opinions. Much safer! We all know the US is far from perfect but lets be real!

BKK vs CR I can comment on, I've been to both a number of times.

Much is a rehash, but my 2 cents (colones, baht) worth

I love asian women, my favorite BKK
The food and in countyr prices BKK
Time to get there and costs CR
GFE BKK, (but I have not had any problems in CR either it's just that BKK has many many many more offerings)

Culture, this is important to me since I am eventually going to retire to, probably, one of these places.

I love the Latin American culture, I've been many times to CR and Honduras, along with single trips to Guatemala, Belize and El Salvador.
BKK is more of a mellower lifestyle (although BKK is f...ing nuts and the entertainment plazas are party central). The Thai music doesn't do it for me, and the girls, while very willing, do not have the fire in them that the Latin ladies have. maybe why BKK has a better GFE vote??

Makes it tough to decide on!! Both are great

All I can add is "I wish to Go back to Cuba!!!!!!!!!!!

In the last 18 months, I've been to DR (once), CR (last Nov.) and Pattaya, Thailand (10 days ago).
I am going back to Pattaya next Nov.
I love Latin women, but also love Asian women. At 63 I have at least one more trip left in me, so back to Pattaya I go ....
Also, at 5'10" I am a lot taller than most Asian - so now I know how it feels to be 6'4" ..
