According to an article in todays Inside Costa Rica the anti smoking law has been published in the official newspaper and is now in effect.

It will take the health ministry awhile to draw up the rules but seeing how this has been "fast tracked" by the administartion that should not take very long.

Guess all the smokers out there are going to do a lot less complaining about how it takes forever to get anything done in Costa Rica.
