I'll give you a great suggestion - Beatle Hotel next to the Beatle Bar (not the old Phuck motel the girls took clients to - if you are facing the BB, this place is on the left)- you may have to google it - like $100; maybe less for smaller rooms - 2 beds, and a small private "Phuck" room that could be a 2nd bedroom if you don't mind 3 in the room - nice rooms, big, clean - saw the place mid Jan

You could not be more wrong about the BB vs the MB - better or worse - and the $14 cover, and the overall lack of talent, the BB is the place - some late night action reported in the MB, but in 10 years of going to Jaco, in high season, I never see anyone on the MB - ever - but I'm asleep at 2AM, so who knows

Last time I was in Jaco (3 years ago)... Hotel Los 4 Grandes was still in operation. Here is a page from a CR website: http://www.forodecostarica.com/los-pelo ... andes.html In 2005 and 2006, I paid $30 US per night. Los 4 Grande has very big rooms (mine was a 2 -room suite). Most of the customers were working girls who split the rooms 3 or 4 ways. Not a bad place if you want to be right next to the Beatle Bar. No problems bringing chicas in the place... the front desk goes home at 5:00 pm. If I ever go back to Jaco, I would stay there again...

Stayed at the Cocal two Sundays ago. Lots of empty rooms on a Sunday night and we got the room for $120 by the pool. Tons of chicas. Live music by the tiki bar. No chica fee. OK breakfast included. Good security for the car. Nice being right on the ocean. All the rooms have been updated.

Vista Mar is awesome and I would highly recommend it. We are staying there in April for the 6th time. They are 3 bedroom condos overlooking the Cocal and the ocean. There are no guest fees and they do hold the girls IDs at the security office, so there is an extra layer of protection there. The word is that with the high cover charge at the BB that the pool bar at the Cocal is now packed with ladies at night, but they do close at midnight. The after midnight locations would be Le Loft and Monkey Bar. I am headed down in four weeks and if the Cocal as good as rumored I will never visit the BB.

Hotel & Casino Cocal would be the best of those you mentioned. Also some great party friendly condos and homes to be had as well in the area.
