Oh Pan T. and Ruffnutz... what am I going to do with you clowns?

The ironic thing about Pan T's words is through this board I met a new friend who is probably my closest friend in the world. I'm not one to hope, rather I do, but I really hope will be 40 years from now that friend and I will be telling some of our recent stories, and the next 39 years of stories that should top what's happened to date... I still can't wait until we start phucking the daughters of girls we have been with in the past... and if it's with our own K*ds... then like Oedipus, we simply could not avoid our fate!

For the 8.1 people who might be slightly curious and don't know, much to the despair of thousands of smoking hot maniac women who are trying to put themselves through PUC or some other university in Brasil, I have spent less than two weeks in the USA in the last 18 months, so a bit harder and farther for me to get to Rio and Brasil, but still get there twice a year, maybe a third if things go well... so say hello if you see me around... I do get to some of the usual places, but a lot of new ground to cover there. I actually think the upside of fun in Rio is much higher these days because you are forced to be more creative at night, and I had what I think is my best non-deck or first trip there ever... and it was trip #20.

To comment a bit more on Pan Ts words, things are well for me. I probably met most of you in a stage in life where I was an overgrown Ch*ld catching up on maturity, and like to think I'm now a man. I certainly now know that I know enough... to know I know absolutely nothing. But it certainly the road to today has not come without an immense amount of sacrifice, hard work, and most importantly years of relentless consistency and smart work in everything I do. That combined with trying to maximize almost all of my time, I've been able to navigate these tough times about as well as I think I could have, and I believe well positioned for the medium term. Of course, the most dangerous thing to do in the world is count on things you don't yet have, and no one should open their presents before Christmas... life is certainly a marathon, it's long and you can't afford to be to up and down... and it sure as hell feels better if you put yourself in a position to win.

Scubabum, you are a bad man! I swing through the town I last saw you every few months, I always keep my eyes open for you guys... a lot of fun to be had there at every speed...

If anyone sees me in Rio don't be shy to say hello, hopefully my alter ego "Bad Bull" is not out that night... or else watch out =] Too bad I won't be in Panama or anywhere else in Latam anytime soon. And if anyone is passing through Hong Kong for any reason, give me a shout, if I can lend some info or if it's a weekend and in the late hours of the night I'm always up for a quick few after my married or boring friends are long asleep.

Stay safe and healthy all... I'll leave you with a quick story... and I swear this is exactly how it happened... This story has two parts... and the second part... happened to me in Jakarta (wild and amazing destination... You need to go to Hotel Alexis, Malioboro and STADIUM!!!!) about three weeks earlier... I couldn't wait to call T-Man to tell him!!!! It will be a bit subtle and if you've never been to Panama, then ask some guys who are experts what happened...

So I'm in Escape... it's probably about 3 a.m., I've been out here about a year at this point... I don't spend much time in places like this in HK, at most once a week and never before 230 a.m.... For those of you that don't know, I speak a lot more Spanish than I ever thought I would here, and I'm good friends with a few of the Brazilian professional footballers that live out here, we go out from time to time, boat parties... late nights... like minded to say the least...

So in Escape, picture being in Hong Kong, at a bar... picture a place a bit like Key Largo.. but darker.. much more crowded... and either pumping techno music or a Filipino cover band playing everything you can imagine, but a damn good performing band... it's 86 degrees at night in the middle of the summer and they are pumping in AC like they will have to at the Qatari World Cup. I see this girl staring at me... and it freaking hits me... I know this girl... not from Hong Kong... it's a small world... I get closer and then I realize... jesus... I've been telling this girl NO at Help for years! WTF? She laughs, I go right up to her of course and we rap in Portuguese for a bit... There are Brazilian girls in here from time to time and once in a while a stunner, usually just passing through. Place is full of Filipinas and Thai mostly, with a lot of waves of Vietnamese which are a lot hotter but often cold. But a lot of everything in there, Mongolia, Lots of East Africans (Sho-co-la-chee!!!), a rare Chinese... and some regular chicks and I have pulled out an airline hostess from KLM... and of course the biggest population in there after the flips / thais... that's right COLOMBIANAS!!! I just bought a T-shirt that says "I love Bucaramanga"... I swear, if one more of these girls says Soy de Medellin but has no clue what jotah y C is... haha... anyways...

Talking to the bRazilian girl and catching up... talking about the death of Help in freaking Hong Kong... enjoying the moment... and I notice a girl... who is hot... who looks a little familiar.. i dismiss it at first... but then I she that she is talking to a colombiana that is hot that I went ot the beach with a few times (yes, HK has some sweet beaches!!!, just not sweet eye candy on them =[ ).... A lot of the Colombianas are in and out... or being run into and out of China... but some stick around longer... so a ton of new faces all the time.. . then... I get a good look at her... and my mental roll-a-decks are firing on all drunken cylinders... as usual... and ....

it hits me.

While talking to a Help girl in Hong Kong, I say excuse me for a moment... and walk slowly towards the girl... she thinks she is too cool for school... looks at me... smiles... and turns her back a bit to talk to her friends... so I do the perfect thing in this situation... I walk right up behind her... lean in.. and she knows I'm about to say something and she leans in to listen...she's expecting something quiet,,,, and...

Loudly I say... in the perfect cadence...

CHICAS EN LA SALLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

Literally... spit out part of her drink (tequilla margarita of course, it's Escape)... and eyes popped out of her head.. it was LEGEND>....

But what was even freaking better... is the SAME THING happened with the eyes with two of the girls she was talking to!!!!

She couldn't believe it, I pulled out my phone, it being in the afternoon I showed her Alberto's # and I pulled her outside for a smoke and we called him... he couldn't believe the story... it was one of those moments... how really small this world is... but how big THIS world is...

My buddy was with her at that place (The CHICAS EN LA SALLLLLLAAAAA) place... she even used to be roommates with my favorites #4 and #47 haha... oh man... I miss Panama too! But who needs it when run into these girls in Jakarta and Hong Kong!! And how weird when I was chatting with the Help girl...

These girls can be lost out here man, especially with limited English... really puts me in a spot where they have more fun than they should... I provide a small oasis to their desert... sucks for me =]

Hopefully didn't lose too many people on that one... but worth asking a Panama expert... and just imagine being in that position... and the smile and fun that brought me...

Nunca se sabe in this world my friends... you never know what may happen tomorrow, always building for tomorrow but never leave on the table what you can do today... you will dream you have the chance to do it just one more time when you look back many years from now...

Best of luck and stay healthy all..

Ronny "Bad Bull" Medellin

I was wondering the same... I sort of miss his obscure, yet trivially informative, posts... :D

Glad am I to be remembered. I sorta dropped off the planet in soporific retirement. Coming down in August, likely accompanied by a Krewe of raffish gents. Stay tuned.

Hey RM...Great to see you are alive and kicking!! Thanks for chiming in here. You and GR really are the reasons I delved into the land of Bunda's and I thank you immensely for that. I still wish I could re-read your old reports though. Lol.

All the best my friend. Stay healthy and be safe!

Take care,

SK

Great to see some of the old guard reposting. This is one of the better threads I have read in years.

Ron Medellin...I continue to live vicariously through you. Panama misses you, but I'm sure you are having much more fun and getting more mileage where you are.

Like many of you, I am keeping a lower profile these days...but I aint dead yet and still find my thrills and spills here and there. I still love Colombia and many new discoveries there. should be back in MDE next month. Those who want to know the details know where/how to find me...
