Go to: www.martinairusa.com/prod/web/index.nsf/

Book directly. They have a unique policy of not ticketing you until 2 weeks before flight. Prior to that you can move your reservation without charge. Assuming seat availability for the change.

I've used them for my last 3 trips to SJO from Orlando, No problems.

I had a bad experience with Martin Air and now always fly AA out of MIA. I had the Martin Flight booked on Sunday to return to MIA andthe plane broke down and they basically left us in San Jose Airport for 12 hours until we could get on an American Flight. We were stuck with our bags on the ticketing side, no resturants, no phone cards, no seats. We took a cab into San Jose and had dinner at Donde Carlos and came back and waited 6 hours for our flight. It was a nightmare, no help from Martin Air when we got back, they said they would give us a 1/2 price flight. The good thing about AA is that they have 3 or 4 flights into MIA every day. On my last trip, I was taking the 7:30pm flight from MIA, flight canceled because of maintiance issues. The had a new air bus ready to go in about 90 minutes. I was late but if that was Martin Air, we would have had to wait untill the next day.

On my first three trips to CR I flew on AA got stuck in SJ for 6 hours once got stuck in Miami for 8 hrs once and 3hrs another trip. Also was stuck in the plane without power for 30 mins. One guy who was Costa Rican seating near me paniced he said of his last four flights on AA plane had problems every time. He left the plane with his family saying that he would never fly AA again. That echos my sentiments exactly. Since then I have flown with Martinair four times and found them very accomodating. I always buy tickets from Martinair direct as they will let me fly out of Miami and return to Orlando and since schedules are not the same from both airports this gives me alot more flexiblity with arrival and departure times.

Martin Air is the way to get to San Jose from central Florida. People drive from Tampa, Sarasota, Jaxsonville and Vero for the direct connection. The $238 fare and the new schedule make it the best choice. I saw 6 guys from my last flight at the Del Rey. The guy in the seat next to me was a CRT member. Maybe Admin can get us a CRT discount!

They are all about value. I like them. I used to fly AA out of Tampa. Now I get a ride to Orlando and fly Martinair.
