Did you check the regular bus schedule. The bus is not a bad way to travel I would estimate the cost at about $10 or less. Sometimes their schedules are very convenient .

I am not sure of which bus station. I took a bus to Punteranas with chica for about $4.00 each. Maybe some guys with a little more experience can help. If you correspond with any Chicas they definitely can tell you. Tuasa is bus station that you can ride to the airport for 80 cents. Fare from airport is about $2.

Personally, if you have a choice, take Grayline over Interbus. And the price is $35 for both. I went down by Interbus last Friday and came back on Fantasy yesterday. Interbus wasn't as quick but part was a spot where they were repairing on the new highway. I met the Interbus at Don Carlos at 7:40 am, rode all over to pick up people and didn't arrive in hotel until after 11:30. I wasn't in a hurry, just wanted to pass it along. I hear people talking about making it to Jaco in 1 1/2 hours and that is not always the case.

*Bus leaves exactly as scheduled do not be late
*Approx travel time each way is 2 hour 45 mins (old route)
*Express buses usually leave directly from the station in Jaco and DO NOT travel through town for pickups
*Do not depend on bus if your flight leaves within 3 hours of schedule bus arrival – traffic varies greatly
Telephone SJO: 2-223-1109 Jaco: 2-643-3135
Purchase tickets:
In SJO: At Coca Cola Bus Station ask “dónde está la taquilla Jaco” it is located in the same area where the buses wait
In Jaco: Behind Pizza Hut you can buy tickets. If you are leaving early in the morning buy your tickets the day before or if you depart on a Sunday or a holiday buy them a few days ahead of time, they sell out quickly.
