I am dropping the South Carolina pick and adding

Houston -6.5

The reason for this is simply strategic. Buzzfla posted this morning picking South Carolina also. This means no matter the outcome of that game I could not pass him in the standing so I have to give myself a chance and pick a different game then the one he has picked.

I understand this unusual and if it were anything but the last week and if I had no chance of moving up I would not have done this.

I have an idea on how to prevent this situation in the future, and add strategy to the game. In the last week, picks would be done by PM. In other words, instead of posting your picks, you would send a PM to a specified person by a specific deadline. After the deadline, all the picks would be posted for all to see.

I think it actually adds to the contest. You have to keep looking at the possibilities and changing your strategy to maximize your chance of placing in the top. Look at Cubby. He picked three NFL games, one at a time, and posted the last NFL game he picked as his final pick. Then today he realized he could be dropped out of the top 3 so he picked another game. No problem with that I think it was good strategy on his part.

It is no different then the those on top make a strategic decision to sit out the last few weeks I have no problem with that strategy. That is why the rules require a certain amount of picks to qualify. Once you make that number you can sit out all the remaining time if you think that is the best way for you to win.

Be interested in what the other guys who participated think.

some people have no charachter at all-if there was an entry fee for this contest this bullshit definitely would not be tolerated.

Once you dismount your high horse you might take a moment to realize that most of us could care less about the money and do not need it.

We are competitive by nature and play to win regardless of whether there is a prize involved or it is just a freindly pick up game.

At a press conference Monday, visibly upset the CRT Shit Flinging Howler Monkey addressed key points of the ongoing selection process, such as its cost and time involved.

"In fact, I'll pay for it!" said the CRT Shit Flinging Howler Monkee, extending his wallet toward the assembled CRT press corps. "Here! Here's, let's see, $14.75. Go ahead!
