Is the restaurante Lukas still open in El Pueblo? I went there many times about eight or nine years ago, but not since. It used to be excellent.

Here's a reviewing of this restaurant as of late August 2011:

Probably the Trip Advisor review was mine, as I love the place. Was there a little over a week ago, and I always bring a new recruit with me who usually returns. The Super Lukas steak is a good sized meal, done the way you want. Not the thickest steak I ever had, but with the baked potato, plantain, black beans, it's an appetite satisfier. Under $20 with a beer. Skip the desserts, not worth the money, and there is always a Chica or 2 walking by as the restaurant is smack in the middle of a couple of discos. It's a quiet place to bring a "friend" for a meal and not break the bank. Watch your safety, a few bad eggs are always hanging around the entrance to El Pueblo where u pick up ur taxi.
