Has anybody been there? What is it like, is it worth it to take a visit? What is the possibility of picking up a girl from there? I think I will go either way but will most likely be rolling Solo.

went 4 times on my last trip ......works for me as it gets me out of the gulch for a few hours ...I enjoy the food ....its $$$ but I like taking a date there ,,,,as 99% of the girls have never been to a sit down american restaurant .....

when I take a wingmen or 2 ...I try like hell to get a phone number ......most every server has let us take photos and after going the girls remember us and come over to say hello .....getting numbers isn't easy as they give me the line "my boss is here today and he wont let me" not saying I don't have a number or 2 but it took work .....your best move is to leave yours (and remember her name if she texts)

the girls are hot and the turnover is high .......its 1800c taxi ride from the gulch ,,,,we go mostly during the afternoon ,,,,,a few of the girls will even come to the table to say hello ....I have brought dates there about 10 times ....so the servers see I just not a perv ...trying to get a tico hooters girl for a date and the more I go I feel my results will improve ,,,,yes there are many hot girls there ,,,,just like in the food court at the mall across the street ....

we often joke about going into the campus across the street .....to have lunch .....could be a homerun or get us killed ......just looking at bus after bus dropping off those beauties

Almost all of the girls in Hooters have boyfriends and they are not pay for play. You definitely need Spanish to converse and have fun with these girls. Mostly a Tico crowd with very few gringos. Their job is to be friendly and take pics with the customers. It would be the rare exception for a gringo to pick up a Hooters girl. You may walk away thinking you have a chance, but seriously doubt it. Its a fun place to hang out.

This sounds like a good place to spend an afternoon, what is the neighberhood surrounding the Hooters like? Safe? I also heard Hooters plays the UFC Fights, is that true?

I live very close to Hooters and it is very safe in that area. It is a sports bar with many TV's. If you are in and want to see something ask someone to change the channel on one of the TV's. Everybody in Hooters is very friendly. Great place to hang out, have a beer, watch sprots and the girls. Lots of bars and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. I spend more time in San Pedro now than downtown.

Thanks for the insite guys, I cant wait to get to CR. Anybody want to meet for beers at Hooters im buying lol I will be there Dec. 14-17 then headed to the beaches!
