On a more serious note i do respect everybodys opinion and there right to express it.
As some of you might have guessed i have enjoyed this thread.
I hope everybody enjoys there time/vacations in CR no matter where they stay,spend etc.

I love the DR I would never stay there. But you just have to go visit. I may if she is really special pull a girl from there but it's like going to an amusement park with good views and always something to see.

Sadly I am living vicariously through you all until I can once again come visit or more likely move there for a few months to see how it goes.

But a trip wouldn't be the same without having something to eat or drink there. I'm a SL guy Maybe will try HLH now that it's a rocking again. but stay at the DR never not a chance. I may piss on the bushes as I pass the done inn on the way by.

Both places have their good points and bad points, there's no reason to bash either one. I enjoyed my stay at the Del Rey! However, I wouldn't stay there again, unless they renovate their rooms. I've never stayed at the SL, but I did spend some time there and got a chance to see one of the rooms. There is no question about it, the rooms are nicer at the Sportsmens. When I booked my room at the Del Rey, I knew that I was overpaying for a shitty room, but the convenience of staying at "ground zero" took precedence. I loved being an elevator ride from "Heaven on earth" I also love the 24/7 aspect of the Del Rey. No matter what time of day, there's always a whore available. The Del Mar restaurant is also open 24/7, which was extremely convenient. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor. There was nothing really deluxe about the room except the size. I couldn't imagine what the rooms look like on the lower floors. As far as noise goes, the room was very quiet. I never heard any noise from outside or another room my entire trip. The hotel staff was excellent, I didn't have any complaints about the service I received there. When comparing the whores at both places, the Del Rey has the SL beat, it's not even close! I view the girls in the Del Rey as being in the Major Leagues, while the SL girls are in the Minors. Just like a AAA baseball team, the girls at the SL seem to be a mix of aging veterans with some prospects.

However the sportsmans is hit or miss i have seen it when there was many beautiful women
and of course when it was as you describe.
The DR being ground zero will always have more women of all looks,shapes sizes etc.Thats why everybody goes there regardless of where they are staying.

Let me say this about the SL. I pop in at all times just to take a break from working on the computer to have a beer. From my observation there are almost always opportunities there. There are slow times, like last night, when there are not that many guys and there are a good half dozen really cute chicas and another half dozen fairly cute ones. And not many guys looking. Same with daytime. Not many by any means, but when I go for a lunch beer, there is always a few doables sitting around alone.
