Any cuties cutting over in the HLH / SL area. Need a haircut today and figured it might as well be a little cutie. Cutting ability doesn't matter as they can't mess up my hair...

Well, 1/2 block down from the Dunn Inn is a small salon bellezza. Don't know that the cutter is a cutie but she is professional. Wandering a bit far afield, there's Peloquierea Maritza . Brother EdB isn't a fan but others are:

This is my best sort-of answer.

Just for the record there are a few Chicas who work the SL and HDR who work during the day as hairdressers. If you see some Chicas with bright red hair they are usually hairdressers. No shit. Met 3 on my last trip with bright red hair that were hairdressers. Times are tough for hairdressers in CR.

Maybe get a good deal for a session and a haircut.

I saw the ad mentioned above and am curious if anyone has tried her - also have had good results at Maritza's (mentioned above) as well as the place in the mall across from the old NY Bar (the guys cutting hair there are gay, but if they give a good trim...what the heck :) )

Jack, that posted the ad for her, has been down here for many years, I'm sure if he posted the ad, he liked her work.

OTOH, it could be like other things we post about on this board.....

Forgot I put this up. Ended up getting a 1000 colone haircut on 6th street. Just got it buzzed with clippers. That's why I said ability didn't matter. :D

I know this won't go over well on this forum, but it is reality, the best deal on hair cuts is "the gay hair dresser". They cut hair like art in CR and are worth 5,000 to 8,000 per cut. No whore will do that. And, they are meticulous. We take the whole family to the salon in my hood and ask for gay dudes. Well... pretty much all of the male employees.. Sit down, read a magazine, they are the best at cutting hair by a mile. Ask the chicas, I think they will also agree.

Totally agree and if I grow my hair out again,I will be in a salon in Escazu. But I keep it super short, pretty buzzed right now and that is no more than having clippers. haha Good feeling not to have to deal with hair.
