As the 10th anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attack is approaching, I thought it would be appropriate to copy the below post to this section. The concert brought comfort to many people affected by the tragedy. Out of all the performers, including such diverse performers as David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Elton John, Eric Clapton, John Mellencamp, Bon Jovi, Jay-Z, etc, with the exception of Paul McCartney's show-ending rendition of 'Let it Be', it was The Who that 'stole the show'. The technique of The Who's bass player, John (the Ox) Entwistle (RIP), should be taught at the best music schools in the country...Berklee (Boston) and Julliard (NY).
