Hey guys,

I'm thinking about going down to Costa Rica soon and I've taken a pretty good look at a lot of this site and have a question: does age of the monger matter? I would be 27 years old when I go (I probably look closer to 23-24) -- would I stick out/be unwelcome as a monger in Costa Rica? I have buddies who go to Thailand and the Phillipenes for these types of trips and know those destinations are common for younger guys, but I'm not into Asian women and also want to practice my Spanish while I'm in CR.

Also, I've heard that many girls refuse to go with younger guys for whatever reason. Is there any truth to this? I would hate to go only to get stuck with lower quality pros.

While I generally have decent success with picking up women here in the US in bars and clubs, I'm frankly fed up with the stupid bar scene here in the US for those around my age. Too much money spent on stuck up princesses with too much uncertainty as to what will happen at the end of the night. The thought of going to a Latin American country and being able to legally hook up with attractive Latinas of my choice all day, every day, for relatively cheap (compared to the US) for a week or so is something I can't put off anymore. Mongering in the US is absolutely out of the question since I'm a teacher and would be in deep shit if my name were to make it in the papers for solicitation.

Other information that may be helpful: Single (obviously), speak advanced-level Spanish, decent shape

Im 35, easily pass myself off as mid 20s and speak some spanish and I had a killer time

The older guys r cool too so if you find some guys to hang out with the group will probably be pretty eclectic

Age doesn't matter.

Only the color of your coin and how you act (hopefully, like a normal person instead of a jackoff) matters.

The fact you're young, in shape, and most importantly SPEAK SPANISH only works to your advantage. Especially speaking Spanish.

Just curious: how exactly will speaking Spanish help me there, especially if I'm mostly looking to hook up (ie pay) with pros? I don't mean to be annoying, but I'm trying to get the absolute most out of the trip, and if there are some perks due to Spanish ability, I'd love to know about them beforehand!

Very similar situation for me. You will have a great time. My only advice is that you will need to approach girls rather than sit back. I think the girls are a bit shy or confused at times when it comes to us 20 something mongers and being a bit forward yet tactful helps. Being young, decent looking, and able to speak the language never hurts since it gives u a better shot a developing chemistry with your intended targrt which in turn usually results in s better session.

Its like this dude..if u get puss at home and generally hook up with girls its really the same thing. The inference is ur supposed to be paying for sex so how that goes down is between you two. Spanish is an ace in the hole because you can be like how you are at home when picking up girls. It doesnt matter how smart, charming, funny or witty you are if it can't be projected..

To that end, if u can flirt or chatta with them the way you can and she digs u like that..well then straight up hooking up is possible too. (Obviously) its an advantage to be younger since it goes a long way in attraction..which can be a passed over thought on this board.

I would not say many. The only ones who would refuse a young guy are hardcore pros. The reason being is that they believe that older guys don't Phuck them as hard and come quicker. These hardcore clock-watchers want to get it over with as quickly as possible, so they can go back to the bar to find another sucker... I mean client. Most chicas who are looking for a good time would prefer a guy closer to their age, who they would probably find more attractive, rather than a older guy. This may be p4p but it doesn't eliminate human nature.

By refusing you, she would be actually doing you a favor, saving you time and money. You should thank them if that were to happen. But I doubt that it will. Maybe 1 out of 100.

I just got back from SJ and I am 33 but look about 25. I definitely noticed that the chicas approach older guys more, but it doesn't affect things. If you make eye-contact and call someone over they will be willing. With some chicas it was a plus that I was younger looking and fit and with others they could have cared less. It all really comes down to how good they are at what they do and how comfortable you can make them feel. I don't know a lick of Spanish and got by just fine, but I also know if I did know some if would have been even better. If you do go just remember that chicas are used to men who are aggressive, so be firm but not a dick. Before long they'll be calling you rico and you'll be smiling.

The last thing that I will say about being younger is that a couple of younger chicas seemed to fall hard for me. Most will say it was part of their act to score cash but I ended up getting 2 sessions and an all-nighter for free with one and a nice $50 3 hour session with another. Not to bad

It only matters if it matters to you. Being a fat, old, f*rt, if I can have success, with limited (kindergarten level Spanish), you should be Brad Pitt.

Spanish is a huge plus, but not an absolute. Body language is universal. If I was fluent in Spanish I would probably be killed by one of these women. After all they are women. I have a line of sh*t a mile long in English. If I could use it in Spanish I would be in trouble. I think that they are more apt to take what you say to heart, than the jaded American woman. Try this one in Spanish; "I could not have prayed to God to bring me a vision of beauty like you, because until I looked in your eyes, I would not have known what to pray for".

Just be fun. While I don't speak Spanish, I have been told in CR, MDE, and TJ, that they like me because I am happy, and I make them happy. The old saying by Marilyn Monroe, "If you can make a lady laugh, you can make her do anything".

If you are not thinking the highest thought for self, change that thought immediately. Doubt is the ego not wanting to let go of what it knows, and is comfortable with.

Pros are working women but don't forget they are women, too. You'll attract a lot of positive attention at places like the SL simply because the chicas can actually have a conversation with you. They'll tend to act more like women and less like pros, which can translate into a more enjoyable GFE session.

Speaking Spanish is also a huge advantage if you choose to go hunting at non-mongering venues.

Unless you're the type who simply wants a convenient warm and affordable panocha to blow your load inside of. Then there's no need to even speak - just visit one of the many MPs, point, and shoot.

I can give you advice on being in your 20's and being in CR. I came here to live when I was 24. Which was more than a few years ago. I spent most of my time picking up all the young honies by the University. Being younger and being able to speak Spanish should make it easy for you to pick up women here without paying. If you do wanna p4p that is up to you. I would never say your age is a disadvantage unless you are working with a straight pro. They may feel you have less money than the older guy beside you, but that should not matter. If you can spit some game you will be just fine here.

You have to remember the majority of the guys on this board are in it just for the p4p. If you got some game, I say come down here and try it out. Gor for whatcha know. It could not hurt. Remember, they are women. Which means at any point you can be doin your thing and they have to react to you. Of course this is just my humble opinion.

Age matters, but being young is mostly a plus, not a minus. Only the most hardened, money hungry, passionless chicas don't care what their customer looks like. You don't want one of those anyway.

I am friends with quite a few of working girls, and I have asked just what makes for an enjoyable experience for them. Being well paid is important, but as far as enjoying the 'session,' they would rather have a young, trim, nice looking guy than an old, fat, ugly one. Not to say an old, fat, ugly guy can't have fun, but all other things being equal ($$$) they prefer somebody appealing. What a shocker!

Regarding Spanish, if you take the time to establish a little rapport, you will get a better session. Not only that, but you have a much better chance of separating the aforementioned 'hardened, money hungry, passionless' types from those who might be able to have fun with you.

If you can get off on a really smokin' body that's a dead fish, none of that matters. Other than a few nut jobs, which you might screen out better with some Spanish, EVERY girl you pay will spread her legs for you and let you do the in and out. But if you are looking for more than just passive compliance, your chances of a good session improve depending on the attitude of the girl. If she is 'into it,' you are likely to get a better time. Being appealing and establishing a little rapport dramatically improve the attitudes of MOST chicas.
