i've been there a 100 times, love it, love the beach, but now the chica drive in me is waning as is my travel patience. just curious how many bros would still go to cr if let's say the chica thing became difficult like pr, unavailable, or non-existent.

As long as chicas were still available but not for p4p, that would be fine by me. CR is a great place to vacation but if you take away the p4p and leave the chicas, then it would be up to us (individually) to hook up..I'm down with that..

Cujo would be the only guest at SL if p4p was wiped out.

The gulch would be a ghost town, with several hotels going out of business. I would say 99% of the guys who travel there now would not return since they only travel for cheap pu*sy.

I wouldn't likely stay in SJ much without the P4P, but there are plenty of things outside SJ that I'd still like to do in the absence of P4P.

Well, mostly NO but for the terrif much-less-expensive dental work and possibly the medical.

I did not even own or care to own a passport until I found the price of dating women had gotten too high in the USA in 2006.

The USA has so much to offer. Mountains, Big and Small cities, The best beaches, Endless miles of scenic open highway. If I wasn't here for the chicas, I'd take a year or two and ride a bike around the USA drinking beers and shooting pool every few days in a different town listening to and telling stories .

The Napa Valley of California is very nice.

But living here, 'getting out of the gulch', I am liking Costa Rica more and more in addition to the available chicas.

Remember a while back everyone thought that if Dona Laura got elected it was the end

I was never concerned with that, lots of phone #s etc...

If she had gone after the "chicas" great, less of the ugly gringo syndrome

That did not happen  It is well establish Bizz... to wipe it out in a year or two... imposibla

I like CR as a country... A sunny place for shady people :D

If every cat house in the country shut down, I would still go... and have fun

I agree 100%. Been to CR 100 times and now only travel for the gulch.

If there were no ez chicas I would just say "Next"...the DR, Colombia and even Curacao/Aruba comes to mind
CR is a beautiful country but there are so many others and life is short
I've been about 6-8 times in the last 14 months

over 33 trips ...went to jaco once ,,,and went on a zipline due to a newbee needed photos for the wife ......nhhank brings up a good point ....as I have so many #'s now .....if the delrey closed and the mp's ....I could still have a great time ,,,,but I would miss the whole experience of hitting 6th street, getting kicked out of the woman's bathroom in keylargo ,,,,,and having 5 girls do a lesbo show in the sportmens for 5000c each .... but I guess I could still get a bj in the bushes

The chica situation could theoretically change if there were some sort of giant crackdown by the govt. but that's about as likely as an asteroid landing on Parque Central. You can close the brothels but the girls would still be here, and they would still need money. I throw away more phone numbers every month than I got back in the States in a decade.

This conversation is a little scary to me since I just bought my condo. I guess I could take solice by thinking about how many millions of dollars big John and company at the DR would lose if the P4P dried up.

Absolutly. But I would definatly need some toys. 1 a dualsport motorcycle outside of San Jose is dirt road heaven. 2 fishing gear and boat of some kind and I would be set. Definatly staying out on the coasts 8)
