It is true, you can meet "real" Ticas and have a relationship, but whether she is a hooker or not, you will always get her family as a "gift" on top. For me personally, I don't want that right now. Sometimes I just want Sex without any attached complications or drama. Places like the DR offer me this opportunity.
Regarding the "Marry a Hooker" issue...
I think I wouldn't mind marrying a hooker. Where is this huge difference between hookers and "regular" women? If there are two similar guys, one rich, one poor, who do you think the regular women choose? I agree there may be other issues like drugs linked to a hooker lifestyle and these are things you need to be aware and cautious about, if not, your fault. The thesis that hookers don't feel love and only want money is IMHO made up by men which had bad experiences in the past. Most likely these experiences are a result of marrying a woman 1/2 your age, which does not work out in the "real" world either.
And there is one more important question: Who does guarantee you if you find a "regular" woman that she does not have a past she does not tell you about, maybe she was a hooker in an other city, has a porn history, was a contract killer or whatever... This includes women at the U.S. or Europe.
I see and worship many of the advices here, but sometimes I believe the community judges too easily.

IMHO, you almost hit the nail on the head, being a hooker is merely a symptomatic of the disease of wanting an easy way out of things. I mean how many women have you met at strip clubs in the states that are drop dead gorgeous looking women, but total shit stains in terms of moral character; I mean they are willing to jerk you off in the back of the club, where you push the high back chairs together, thus creating a little fort(I hear) and they let you spray a DNA cocktail all over them for a C-note with which to buy more Bolivian Marching Powder, and yet, with their looks and a little brains, they could use those skills to sell other things aside from themselves. The point being that if they take the easy way out by jerking off customers in the back room, that same easy way of doing business can be applicable to other things, like petty theft, drug use, fraud, etc. Still, I know at least one stripper who stuck it rich by marrying the CEO of the company I worked for; that change virtually guaranteeing that she will never want for anything again. I think the whole thing comes down to indications of moral character. If you think a whore has one, or if you don't think it matters, then go for it, if you think it matters in one you would choose to be with, then don't

You also said something about judgement that I would like to address. I think you set up a bit of a straw man argument with the rich man versus poor man comparison. To me, it would be more accurate to compare a man who works hard for a living at an honest job and a man who works at a quasi-honest occupation and then ask who the gal going to choose, e.g. a gal I date was introduced to a guy who allegedly was tangentially involved with the mob in NY, in that he collected from coin operating vending machines, she decided to give the guy a pass; in other words, she judged the occupation as being a little bit over the line in terms of honest occupations. The danger is that you don't judge enough or judge the wrong things. I would rather be judged on my accomplishments, education, degrees, work record, mil service than anything else and I think it is a more fair / less discriminatory way of operating. Over course, the world will always judge a good looking woman or man for that manner less harshly than his less good looking compatriots, but that's biology for you. How does this equate for me to hookers in CR? I would look more favorable on a gal that works in just about any other honest occupation more favorably than a hooker at the DR. Nothing personal, that's just the way it is. All that means is, I will pay to bang them, but they ain't gonna be introduced to Mom, make my Xmas card list, etc. etc.
