Hey all-

I want to stay in Jaco for a few days in early to mid December. Was thinking about renting a condo in Los Suanos, but the prices seem pretty steep (~400-500 per night). I was wondering if somebody can point me in the right direction regarding a fairly nice place to stay in/near Jaco, and/or which rental or travel agencies to go to. I see a bunch on the internet, but don't know where to begin.

Also, any advice on fishing charter boats in Jaco is appreciated.

Hope to see some of you at the Beatle bar!

Mike

If you found prices in a condo in Los Suenos for $400 to $500 a night in the month of December you have found an amazing deal, or you have not seen a minimum number of nights required or that is per person.

December to March or April is their peak season and they typically charge about $1,200 a night starting around Thanksgiving week and by mid December will go to to a 10 night minimum until about Jan 10 or 15.

You can rent a 3 bedroom Del Mar for $300 a night in December. Nice big condo with terrace and views of the sea and golf course.

Here's a recent Thread on just this subject, absent the talk on Los Suenos:

Not to bust hard but the "Search" function can be a good friend.

Save your money to buy the girls drinks and their family a new home. You can get a great room for half that price at a hotel. Have your tried, http://www.hotel-poseidon.com/rates.html its a nice place just a few meters off the beach and not far from the beatle bar.

Mike,

Save your money for fishing and go to clarita's and I will fix you up with the fishing tours of your choice.

I'll be there from aug. 27 till march 1st.

pm me when you get close to pulling the trigger.

Ike

My 2 wings and I stayed at this place, Bahia Encantada, last year. We got a 3 bedroom for around $250/night. Nice spot, right next to Clarita's, and good security, pools, wifi, swim up bar etc. Only a few years old, nice furnishings, central AC. Couldn't have been happier with it. Just probably want to catch a cab to and from the main drag at night.
