I am heading down Aug 17th to 24th and wondering what the differences are between a standard deluxe in the modern wing and the Presidential Suite in the courtyard? Can someone please help me with advice as which is better or if it really matters at all.

Thanks

I am still confused after looking around. I am being told that the Presidential Suite is $109 but it seems like it is in a loud area and not worth it. Then is the Presidential the same as Presidentia (spanish)?

I just want a decent room where I won't have people right in my face when I walk out or crazy noise.

Presidente Suite ($109 per night) is the first room on the right as you enter the Sportsmens. It is next to the reception desk. It opens directly to the main entrance way to the hotel. The hotel entry guard who checks in the girls stands just outside the doorway. Although a high traffic area, no one actually hangs out there -- they are coming and going. Especially the chicas.

The suite has a large living room with two sofas (great for parties or just chilling), a large bedroom, and an enormous bathroom. Two large screen LCDs. A 2 (3 or 4 if their friendly) person jacuzzi in the bathroom.

I have stayed in this room several times and have never had a problem with noise - of course, the reception ladies do get to hear chicas get loud :) but that's OK. In fact, its my wingman's favorite room now. I have to "settle" for a room in the Mansion. :D

Presidente Suite = Presidential Suite.

Mansion = Oso Grande, Leopardo, Toro Negro, Zorro, Puma, Mono, Tigre, Leon.

I would have preferred getting emails with actual room names, from the doors, and them having pictures displaying these rooms (with the room name). With so many differences it can be very confusing for new people and while I am sure I will have fun in any room it is nice to like where you are staying.

I think I have the person at SL pissed with me and ready to just tell me to F-off with all my questions. :D

I decided to avoid the Presidential as it does seem to be in a more hectic area than I would like. Flight booked, hotel booked and will be there from Aug 17 to aug 24th.

thanks for clearing that up. i toured the mansion as it was being renovated and never stayed in any of those rooms. thats amazing that the presidente goes for $109. it was the first room i stayed in on my first trip. that was four years ago and it sounds as though upgrades have been done to the bathroom. but for me the desk noise alone was too much and now the bar is right there as well as chica check in. idk to each his own. i guess it depends on your swag.
