Hey if you have not met Gary , please make sure you do if your in the sportmens ....I have know him for I guess a little over a year , as he was running the sportbook at the sportmens.

He is one of the type of people who just goes out of his way to help others .....I have seen this over and over again he and bktuna have that same way of helping new guys or just hanging with vets .....not pushy, just cool ....

My last few trips I seen him take more of a role in helping with getting rooms at the sportmens or following up on different things (last trip I remember watching him and saying to myself ...is he on the payroll? )

I have read a few trip reports in the last few weeks and have seen members refer to him as Gary the manager......

Hell if its true ...I think its great , he gives good advice...I have a buddy staying at the sportmens now and more than a few times that we have chatted about his trip he has said some good things about him.

Bill has always taken care of any concern that I might have and I could see where having a guy like Gary to help his business as it grows ....so if its not true .....sorry I brought it up

i was introduced to gary this last trip by bill. i didn't ask for his title and bill didn't offer one. sometimes there are mutually beneficial relationships that don't require titles in business. why the need to have it defined? its bills and garys thing. do we need to know the specifics of how he is paid also? geez.
and carlos is still the go to guy for solving problems at sportsmens.

Gary is Bills good friend... his hobby is hanging around the SL testing the booze making sure that the TVs are set to the right stations and gives out advice. and helps keep things smooth when Bill is not around(most of the time ) Oh and he takes bets

Gentlemen,

Carlos is the Manager of Sportsmens Lodge now going on 3 1/2 years. Gary is the Sportsbook agent at the Lodge working with Go Wide Sports.com and does some hosting. The hosting includes greeting customers, showing rooms if available, keeping an eye on Bar & Kitchen staff and adjusting the 14 different satellite channels to key games and events. Gary will be glad to help any SL customer with information and assistance.

Yes he is, I was hanging out the other day and he asked if I wanted to look at some clothes? Someone had packed it in and decided to move back to the US, and had left a suitcase full of clothing. I scored a bunch of shirts and pants in my size!
