I sure wish I could figure out a way to unlock my Droid 2 from Verizon, but I've searched everywhere online and can't find anything.

The software needed is out there.
I got this on my first search.
droid 2 jailbreak software.

A local guy does it here for $40.
That seems to be about average.
On CraigList there are always people offering that service.

OK thanks I will try that, or if it doesn't work I will find out someone in the states to do it for me when I return in September.

Jailbreaking and unlocking are different. Most iPhones can not be software unlocked because the new basebands have been patched.
