There's no hall monitoring going on at all..we usually let you and Steven1 carry on about things only you two even care about. The coy attempts at sarcasim are completely see through...

The short of it is, nobody cares if you feel left out of anything it's not our fault...

P.s. if there's ever way you and him can take a picture side by side sharing a drink or something and post it..I think it would go a looong way in putting things into context, thks

Cujo, you mention you let me talk to Steven1. What do you mean you "let" me talk to him or anyone else on this Board. Do you have special privilige of some kind. Did you pay an extra fee for this privilige of "letting" me talk to another member?

Seriously Jazz, I hung with you several times and I did not detect any of this "brotherly" comradeship you always tout. maybe next time. I'll be in SJO July 4th weekend if you are there lets discuss.

Admin, I apologize for stepping over the line but as you can see this string is getting personal not from just me but several other members. I will stop the silliness on my part but I also expect it to stop on the part of these other members as well. Thanks.

By letting I mean not hijacking a retarded thread by posting jokes or ripping Mr.Magoo or whatever. But when you guys open it up for joking or crying about how it suxs that your loners then its subject to piling on. Since I apparently started this little panties-in-a-wad party maybe I can shed some light.

What I said was:


In other words, if you know the Dunn Inn/Boyd story and chose to stay there anyway when other options are available some people will take that as support for a business that has proven to be unethical. Whether Boyd has "moved on" or not is immaterial. The fact is that Dunn Inn fired him from his job and tossed him out on the street (with a baby due) without cause.

For some of us, it is a matter of principles. If you screw my friends over I won't support your business and I will encourage my friends not to spend a penny there either. If Dunn Inn was an ethical establishment they would do something to make the situation right. They haven't to the best of my knowledge.

I wasn't saying that anyone should "ostracism" anyone. But if you come saying that you know what happened at Dunn Inn and you don't care, you support them and their business practices, then don't be surprised at less than a warm welcome from people who consider themselves to be Boyd's friends.

What Cujo meant by "we usually let you and Steven1 carry on about things only you two even care about" was that we don't generally join in those conversations. If you want to participate in Steven1's "poor uncool me" pity party go right ahead.

I personally had enough! I will use this site for what I believe its most valuable for, that is information and discounts. If y'all are in SJO when I'm there and if you want to meet and discuss these issues face to face I am always available. I usually roll into town during Holiday Weekends and will be there July 4th weekend and Labor Day Weekend. Thanks.
