Maybe that's what YOU meant, but I got the distinct impression from what I read and posted about that a dues paying member, even a lifetime member, can be simply a "member" as oppossed to a "brother". Ya know as in "ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS" kind of jive....

Being as I started/reinforced that CRT Brother thing, let me say--A CRT Brother flies the flag under their handle. There are some "honoraries" due to service to us--Thirdworld comes immediately to mind.

I do not believe Tourist made the distinction between paid and unpaid members when he referred to "brothers" and "members".

I took it to mean that those who supported the boycott of the DI where "brothers" and those who did not were "members".

I guess his definition is a fluid one depending on his point of view on a particular subject.

ID is correct, my statements were related to loyalty only, all for one and one for all type of thing, as in the way i think of a brotherhood. one doesn't need to be involved in a situation to have a brother's back and stand with him when he's been wronged. IMHO!

Any of you "Brother's" like to take over my mortgage payments? I would really appreciate that and be very loyal to you. Thanks.

Since for the first time since joining CRT I have taken a stand on something, I need to mention I am in no way care where anyone stays, I just am saying where and why I won't ever stay there if by doing that some choose the same it won't hurt my feelings LOL. I would not shun others that stay there either but not likely to have anything in common with them except pu*sy since we are so far apart on this issue.

Okay I think this horse is almost dead.

Enjoy!

Dave

PS
I also do not know Boyd I met him for a brief moment a couple years or more ago so if this had happened to a less well known brother my opinion would be the same, it's the principle to me period!

Beating a horse to death... For the record and you can ask Boyd, I don't think he cares one Iota where anyone stays or if they stay at the Dunn Inn. You can ask him.. He is thriving in his new surroundings and although there certainly will be no reconciliation between Boyd and the Dunn, from all accounts, personal conversations, etc as they say all things happen for a reason and he is quite content and happy in his new surroundings.

You don't believe me ask Boyd the continued Don't stay at the Dunn because of the Boyd issue is getting old... Stay there don't stay there make up your own mind, but I assure you Boyd could care less.

Now back to Ball Shaving... :)

I have never met Boyd, however it does seem he has moved on.

You cannot be my friend if you do not agree with me. You must spend
a lot of time alone. If that is the requirement, BLIND Loyalty to be
your brother, I'll pass.

What?? I started this topic out as an informational on my stay at the Dunn Inn. I never asked you or any other member to be my "brother"! What are you talking about? Also, I do not appreciate your pot shot at me as spending a lot of time alone. You do not know me fellow CRT member and I request Admin to monitor your comments carefully as I believe it is in violation of the rules of this site.

Kmm653: I think I hear what you're saying and my most excellent associate Zunbake may be feeling (properly so), attacked: What you have written Kmm653 reads like "to each his own" and that Zunbake can stay wherever the hey he wants, and he is STILL a brother. Brother.

Let me opine on this brother shit:......My good buddy John Lennon once wrote:

I told you before. Stay away from my door. And don't give me that "Brother, brother, brother", Brother. The freaks on the phone won't leave me alone and don't give me that "brother, brother, brother", Brother.

I found out. 8)

Amen.

Zunebake. I am not sure what set you off there.

I am referring to the whole brotherhood mentality that tries to get intelligent, educated persons to set aside there own thought process and go along with some group mentality without thinking for themselves. I luckily have no friends like that. Sorry you misunderstood.

Yeah, the brotherhood sounds like some Don Quixote tilting at windmill shit. Grownups make their own decisions! Admin and others have settled the Dunn Inn thing by explaining that Bk doesn't give two shits about the situation anymore.
