Anyone have any suggestions for interesting things to do in these two places? Gambling aside.

If you mean the Playa Hermosa near Jaco, that's one of the top surfing spots in CR. If you're not a surfer though, then yup, nothing else there of interest. :D

No, he's talking about hermosa in guanacaste.

there is plenty to do.... I live in the area and have so for over 6 years.

Any specific type of activities on your mind? Mongering, fishing, diving, etc?
