EASY there slugger...Kobe won the 1st 3 rings w/ Shaq in his prime, OH and the best coach in NBA history :idea:

The last 2 rings have come with a FAR superior roster to ANYTHING LeBron has played with, INCLUDING the current Heat team :idea:

Please name ANYONE close to an re-curring All Star when he played in Cleveland :!:

Is Kobe a great player, DUH. Is he one of the 3-4 best, DUH. Does he make everyone around him better? Not so sure about that one. LeBron carried an entire city on his back for 7 years and the NEVER got the right players around him to win a championship. Think Kobe sticks around LA for 7 years with the same talent LeBron had? Not likely.

BTW, you've articulated what I feel is the underlying flaw with American society today - winning is EVERYTHING. How you win matters NOT AT ALL, as long as you WIN.

i love it, second place is good enough if you try :lol: maybe in K*ds sports and rec softball but not in prosports. winning IS everything and kobe does it as well as any of the GREAT ones have. jordan, tiger etc. mebron will never be mentioned in that breath even though he thinks he already is.
as far as the needing shaq or pau argument. name one star that ever won all by his lonesome. lame assertion. :roll:

P.S. Yes, Heat got shellacked. Awesome performance by the Bulls, especially in the 2nd half.

But despite the appearance of all of these "instant" and previously "invisible" Bulls fans :D I'll still say... GO HEAT!!!!

Congrats to the Bulls for last night's performance. Their offensive rebounding and the 3 point shots sapped the mojo out of my boys and we went down bad :( ...BUT it's only ONE GAME...and pain is a GOOD thing... you grow from PAIN not PLEASURE... and we will make the adjustments necessary for the next battle...

ES... don't be counting your Zacapa bottles just yet... :wink:

MH... No not hiding under a chica although I will take that under advisement... :twisted:

yeah i'm a bandwaggoner cause i choose to root of the derrick roses and kevin durants of the game. :roll:
i would rather see young humble talent win over massively overpaid egotists every time. or i guess now that the lakers are out i just need to remain neutral by some peoples rules.
this is a smack talk section and a sports thread. so yeah i'm going to love every moment of excuses i hear out of miami as chicago shuts them down. its going to be epic.
but at least MH is going to be satisfied they tried. who needs championships? :mrgreen:

What's the point of smack talking? Are you that bored?

Championships are earned by deeds, not by talk. Right now the Bulls are ahead in that earnings game, for which they are to be congratulated. Of course, there's still a lot of basketball to be played.

Derrick Rose is an amazing talent all sports fans -- regardless of team loyalty -- should appreciate. Especially because he lets his play do the talking, instead of his mouth. Which unfortunately is rare these days.
