I have a time share and I am considering using my RCI points for an upcoming trip. The only one nearby is Taranova-Villas Palmas. If anyone has ever stayed there I would appreciate any feedback. If you know anything about the area it is located.

I stayed there two years ago. The upside is the price. You only have to pay $179-$249 for the week.(I believe). Also, mgt does not stop you from bringing guest in. However, here's the downside (s). It's far from the gulch. Taxi ride is about 15 minutes without traffic. Sometimes during peak hours, traffic can get heavy. Also, remember that it is a family place. Therefore, a chica screaming at the top of her lungs may not sit well with the other guests. There is one small TV in the living room only. Master Bed has a queen bed while the other two BR's have double beds. The kitchen is small and dingy. The pool looks like an ankle wader. The neighbor hood overall is not bad. Around the corner from the Best Western Irazu. If I were bringing my family I may consider staying there again. However, if I'm looking for the action, I would stay near the gulch. Ground zero for those early day New Fantasy visits. Moreover, If you bring the wrong chica home, you'll have that much farther to travel to replace her. Stay at SL, Dunn Inn or now the Clairion.
