Steven, thanks for the Butler quote and for your other thoughts. Very provocative! I had read about Butler before, and think that his writings should be periodically promoted.

Most certainly, Panther.

And now, for those in our midst who have woken up and realized what's what we have:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb6cBKE3 ... re=related

Don't come back anytime I've already had your kind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.

Don't come back anytime, you've already run me dry.
This is your pay back, money grabber.

Teardrops fade.
Then I saw, blue hands in the pocket.
'Cause you were always made to want it all.
But now you got to make it on your own.
This ain't your home.
So I'm showing you the door.
Wave goodbye now, it's time for you to go.

Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.

Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.

Blue rhinestone glass.
All I see.
You talking double.
Like the time you set fire to me.
'Cause I'm in trouble.
Here's my advice .
I don't think twice for the price of a cheap time whore .

Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.

Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
this is your pay back, money grabber.

One. Two. Three.
One is for the money.
Two is for the greed .
And three times that I told you you're the one,
I just don't need .

Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.

Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.

EDIT: Better audio

Everybody realizes, right, that "Fitz" is a Celtic name prefix meaning "bastard son of"?

Most, if not all, of us Celts quite embrace our bastard ways and nature. It's an integral aspect of being a Celt what with so many in our lot being the " illegitimate" chilldren of kings and princes. Those Bastard English and Britsh royals, they. But the Normans were the first to use the term and Celts are most certainly NOT Normans . *shrug* :P

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better.

The king of Marigold was in the kitchen
Cooking breakfast for the queen
The queen was in the parlour
Playing piano for the Ch*ldren of the king.

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.

The king was in the garden
Picking flowers for a friend who came to play
The queen was in the playroom
Painting pictures for the Ch**drens holiday.

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.

The duchess of Kircaldy always smiling
And arriving late for tea
The duke was having problems
With a message at the local bird and bee.

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.

At twelve o'clock a meeting round the table
For a seance in the dark
With voices out of nowhere
Put on specially by the Ch*ldren for a lark.

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry cry cry cry baby
Make your mother sigh.

She's old enough to know better
Cry baby cry
cry cry cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.

Can you take me back where I came from?
Can you take me back?
Can you take me back where I came from?
Brother can you take me back?
Can you take me back?
Oooh, can you take me where I came from?
Can you take me back?

Full-on tackle soccer--now there's a concept. And, yes, if you put yourself in harm's way voluntarily or otherwise, be prepared to take some lumps. I appreciate allegory but this one's a stretch. BTW, thanks for the sweet Chicago soul--I was feeling kind of bluesy and it sure helped.

Steven1-

You are getting to romantic in your old age. Old f***ks like us can forget about true love except from someone that looks like our mother or Grandmother (yech!), "Youth is Wasted On the Young"!

It's obvious you don't know the game. The unexperienced player DOES get laid out, and how, when being tackled in soccer/football. http://www.soccer-fans-info.com/soccer-tackling.html

http://soccercoachingguide.com/coaching ... can-tackle

blah, blah, blah.....but I took down my little piece of self disclosure as I determined the self-annoited were not entitled to superior writing....and....yes.....I am a superior writer. Perhaps I'll put more of the little autobiography back up..... :P

I neither know or care about soccer, but I did emphasize full-on tackle--here's some examples of what most would think of as tackles:

If you're a glutton for punishment (other people's), there's this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwiMtGsF ... re=related << done by a Philadelphia Eagle, natch.

And soccer has it's own brand and style of "full-on tackle". Typcial American: Ignorant as to what the bulk of the sports' world knows. *shrug* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk_fATphz68

I take great pride in neither knowing or caring about that which has zero impact on me. However, it is true that soccer has greatly renowned actors and drama queens. There's a tackle early on in this clip but the main thrust is the fans. It's the reason some stadia have moats between the stands and the field, and special riot police always in attendance:

No such thing but then I don't confuse tripping another player with tackling him/her either.
