This subject has been covered before but it really came home to me on my last trip.

I was relaxing with a tica that used to work for one of the high end MP's. At that time she was very popular on this board. We were discussing the business side of the hobby. In the course of the discussion she mentioned that the thing that was the biggest turn-off and caused her to not perform to her best was body oder. She said that it was very common for men to really smell bad and some even refused to shower when she suggested that she thought they would have a better time if he'd freshen up.

I just doesn't make any sense to me why any man wouldn't try to make the environment as nice as practical for these chicas if they wanted great performance from them. We want them to smell nice, don't we?

Sometimes we deserve the reputation of being pigs.

I prefer girls to come to my room so that we can both shower in comfort both before and after. It just doesn't work quite as well with cold water down the hall in a busy MP.

Freshen up for your next encounter and see if you don't have more fun.

Good point. And keep the breath in check. Often times when speaking to a fellow monger, it's hard to get within 3 feet of some. And those are the guys that complain about not being able to find a GFE or DFK.

So true - I see this in the Philippines and on their discussion forums - guys who don't shower, brush, groom themselves AND have sour ass attitudes always bitch the loudest about how rare it is to get a GFE!

i totallly agree, i think, adding two more, would be to smile and not be so drunk off your ass, i little bit of restraint helps alot. just my two cents worth..

Yes, Orange, your are right. I always keep a new toothbrush, and sample sizes of toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash to give to the little ones as well as disposable razors to eliminate that three day stubble they all seem to have. Again, so we both are fresh.

Warning - do not share your razor with a chica. It is closely akin to sharing needles.

This may seem like simplistic advice, but I completely agree and I speak as a convert. In my first few years of mongering I felt uncomfortable with the showers at some of the low end places--and since I shower every morning didn't see the need.

When I moved here I somehow realized it was just a courtesy to shower on site. It sends a message to the girl that you don't think the place she works is gross. Often now I actually need a shower, but even if i don't I do it as a gesture and especially with a new chica it sends the message that I'm making an effort and that effort tends to get reciprocated. Also agree that keeping a toothbrush and paste in the pocket (like many Ticos do) is a good practice especially if you've been drinking pre-session.

All the deep mongering tricks discussed by CRT masters pale next to the power of smelling ok.

Good advice all! I think we have come upon a topic that no one can argue about... Good advice on taking the shower even if you don't need it. I used to decline the shower at ZB when it was ZB just because I was coming directly there after having taken a shower. Now, I will take a shower anytime offered. Well,,, not a golden shower...

Good hygiene is a good idea, but be careful with flossing before a session. When we floss, the floss cuts into our gums and we bleed (small microscopic cuts). If you then plan on eating out a chica, you are more susceptible to contracting something viral through the open wound on your gums. Same thing if she flosses and then blows you. Her blood might gets on your pinga.

last august i had a similiar discussion with 2 regulars and a couple of their friends(i believe i posted it).General consensus was many a monger smell bad or are not clean.In many cases these are the guys that expect the most and pay the least.I always bring a couple of extra tooth brushes,razors and mouthwash.They also said that the sessions are not fun/enjoyable for them because of the guys please me only attitude.

Other tips for (older) Mongers

Clip your nose and ear hair
Shave every day
Trim your eyebrows
Keep your nails trimmed
Lose weight
Go to the gym
Get your teeth cleaned
Keep you zipper zipped
No Hawaiian shirts
Wear nice shoes





You look like shit already, you might as well make yourself as presentable as possible

I could write a book on my thoughts on this subject, but the bottom line is, the better she feels in your presence, the better she will treat you and enjoy being in the moment with you instead of just wanting you to hurry up and drop your skeet so she can get the hell out of there.

Clean Tip 17.

You can take 100 showers but if you don't take soap with a washcloth and scrub your underarms, dick and ass, they will still smell. Sweat by itself does not smell so offensive as does the bacteria.


So remember 1, 2, 3, Underarms, Dick, Ass. Soap and wash cloth each time, every time before a session.

I'm glad to see this thread.
Sometimes I'm not sure that speaking Spanish is an advantage, because I learn lots of things I'd rather not learn from some of the chicas.
But many of them have told me that the worst part of their jobs is having to get down with guys who just don't have good hygiene.
Most of them say they'll try to get a stinky guy to take a shower with them, making it sound like fun, when what they really want is to wash his funky crotch and ass before they have to go to bed with him.
I also know that there are guys who just view these girls as whores who deserve no respect. I happen to disagree with that because I know several of these ladies pretty well and have known some of them for quite a while now.
But, even if you have no respect for the girls, I can promise you that 9 times out of 10 you'll get better, more enthusiastic and willing performance if you'll just make sure you're clean and that your skivvies don't have three days worth of skidmarks in 'em when you undress.
Most of these girls don't really give a rat's ass if a guy is good-looking or has a hunky physique. If they've been working more than a few months, they've seen it all.
But they do appreciate good hygiene and a wee bit of courtesy. It'll go a long way.

Sorry, I think its pathetic we even have to discuss this topic - c'mon, are guys that phucking clueless not to know these things? (Based upon the thread, I guess so)

Also - on point - trim your disgusting, yellow toenails, and lose the leather sandals - a pedicure in CR costs under $10 - feels great and is a worthwhile investment. A basic pair of khakies, and a conservative shirt is asking too much, I guess.

I'm still in shock that assholes don't know they need to shower w/ soap once or twice a day, and use deoderant before presenting their smelly ass, C*ck and body - Jesus, smarten up
