Building chemistry was a bit hard for me as I don't speak perfect Spanish. As long they don't bring price up within the first 30 minutes of chatting it up that should be a good sign. Most Chicas at DR usually asked me within the first 5 mins to session. I would respond with por cuanto? Just out of curiosity of course it always started at Cien. The ones that didn't mention price at all where my best sessions. I too did my research on CRT before hitting DR and KL and was very priced focused. I went in thinking I was gonna hustle a few good sessions for the cheap..yeah right..I got burned! Like many have said it's all subjective but finding a cool chick to hang with for the night or a few hours should be the focus not how much it's gonna cost as long as its within YOUR budget.

A high-end hotel near the mall and university? Sound like a good place to find freebies........I may have to check it out.

How's your Spanish? If it's good and you have some game, you may have a shot (The chicas won't drop their panties just because you're a hansum gringo ). If it sucks, don't waste money on the taxi.

Brother Orange, I hear you loud and clear. I am very aware how important it is to speak the local language when trying to pick up women. Even in the Philippines, where everyone speaks English, my Tagalog skills took me much farther with the women than just looks, charm or money would have. I am working hard on my Spanish and have been for a while. It was pretty feeble when I arrived in San Jose and 6 short days later it was much improved. I'm working my way through Rosetta Stone Levels 1-5 and going to my local salsa club on the weekends, and I have a couple of friends who are native Spanish-speakers helping me out as well. I watch an hour of SCOLA here and there and read Spanish articles online a couple times a week. All I need now is a local Spanish-speaking novia here...got a couple of prospects for that.

I guess you could say I'm a man on a mission. It's not that I object to P4P, I certainly do not. I love me some mongerin'. I'm as red-blooded as we come, I have no problem paying a stunning girl to service my needs. But I'd rather it be an option for getting laid, not the only means. I enjoy meeting women, getting to know them, dating, etc. I like casting a wider net to increase my chances for the best possible experiences.

The other thing is, I know I will be an expat soon, either in Latin America or Southeast Asia. And a part of me would like a chance to meet a girl I could have a real relationship with someday, and sorry if this sounds bad, but slim chance in hell I will find that girl in the Del Rey or an MP. I'm jaded by American women and I hate to say it but most of the best girlfriends I've had have been foreign women. They treated my like a king for the most part.

I'm just finishing up an 11 day stay before I move down here in May. I have not paid cien for any ST. Most I ended up at $80 and I got one for $60. You have to negotiate and work the crowd. Of course I only pick up chicas at the SL, I think it is much harder to pick them up from the HDR for those prices, that's my experience at least.

Be patient, learn spanish, I always usually get what I want, I tell them in Spanish, one of the first phrases I learned, "Forget about cien it is'nt going to happen". I then lay down my terms and ask them if they just want to sit there, or go with me for a couple of hours and make some money. They all ask for cien at the DR go across the street to the KL, they come off the cien chant real quick, some ask me if I live there.

The members here pay cien because they know no Spanish and like to stay in their comfort zone. Bad practice. If everyone paid 60 that is where we would be. I negotiate to 60 and have hit 80 twice in 8-9 visits there but usually nicer girls. Not a criticism just a comment so keep your shit to yourselves.

Its' been my observation that the guys that readliy pay cien are first or second timers to the P4P scene. Usually their first time away from the family and are so overwhelm with the experience of having a beautiful 20 something rubbing up against them they hop on the cien train without arguement. Then there's some guys I know who are wealthy and hate to negoitate, a chica will say cien for an hour, they will counter 3cien for toda la noche, the girl usually falls off the bar stool thinking she just died and went to heaven.
Then there are the cheap Phucks like me, who the girls think I live down there, because I speak spanish and negoitate the amount and terms of the P4P, one accused me of being a TICO.
