I have been considering trying Spirit Air as it is about $300 cheaper round trip with no parking fees flying from Latrobe airport rather than Pittsburgh but the only flights seem to arrive in San Jose just after midnight. Has anyone done a similar arrival time? If so, what hotels would you suggest to check into for that late an arrival. I am considering going with Spirit and just going to the Del Rey for the night then heading up to Sportsmen for the rest of my next trip. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Even though your a Steelers' fan this Browns loyalist living in Florida by the way of Ohio will help you out this time...lol. I've made that Spirit Flight several times arriving in San Jose after midnight. I would suggest staying at the Del Rey your first night and moving the next day to SL. SL is a much better place to stay but getting in that late the Del Rey is better suited to fit your needs. My experience with this has been good. You check into your room come down to the casino and gamble for a bit while you watch the girls walking around waiting to select the one for you. You should arrive at the Del Rey after clearing immigration and customs just a bit before 1am. Plenty of talent will still be available at 1am. If you are arriving on a Friday or weekend i would suggest a reservation. If it's during the week I would ask for a reduced rate at the reservations desk. Good luck and have fun.

There are a couple of hotels that you can check in late but you should email or call to verify. The Del Rey, The FreeBird, the Castillo all have someone there that could check you in.

Thanks for all the info. I figured LA could check you in as I have stayed there before and there is always someone at the desk working....never thought of it though. Haven't stayed at Castillo. I love the Sportsmen dearly and is always first choice for party time headquarters. Sounds doable and will begin making plans for my fourth this year....LOL......guess I am hooked.
