Kinda funky to quote myself but here's a Thread with embedded links that may help:

thanks! i was reading that 1 last night....

my main question is, is it feasible to do the hot springs in 1 day, and return..
and the price of transportation....

i already booked 6 nights at SL, not sure if im too late to cancel a night to try some where else....

now im thinkin Jaco if that is closer, possible a ATV tour, is that possible to do in a day and return to SJ ?

HELP ME GET OUT OF THE CITY !!! thanks : )

Sure Ydogi :D

It is a big park right in San Jose

It is kinda big, think it was the airport years ago

The new eastadio is there as well, some swimming pools and a pond or two
Best part only a short ride back to HDR  :D

To firm up Thirdworld's mention, there's this: http://www.jacobeach.cr/costa+rica/guide/tours >>click on "Tel. #"

This listing may sorta answer part of Brother Ydogi's question as well. OTOH maybe he meant this one: http://www.adventuretourscostarica.com/
Finally, I personally used this outfit 4 years ago, and my brother and I had a grand time--but as we've seen with Paraiso here, things change, sometimes rapidly:

TripAdvisor is an excellent source of non-monger info:
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Search?q=atv ... nTo=__2F__

I'm sure you will have a good time on either one. I know a lot of people use Adventure Tours for their canopy and they seem to be a good outfit. Hope ya have a good time...
