What is a good bottom feeder to put in a tank with a baby oscar? I want a baby oscar, and with a 75 gallon tank, and sand substrate, what is a good bottom feeder to keep the sand cleaner? Any suggestions?

Here's a WTF entry for you. First post too.

Carlos Mena, taxi driver (certified taxi) took me from Amistad to airport at 5:30am for 8000 colones, no maria (meter). I gave a 1000 tip. Guy is nicely silent! 506-8962-7871 and 506-8976-9072. NO english.

The day before he had taken my tica friend  to her family's house near the airport and that is what he charged her, so I asked her if she would ask him to give me the same deal - he agreed.

Sergio is one of the best ... reliable and honest ... I used him for a dozen trips around San Jose when I was there last year ... I wish I had found him on the previous three years!!! I told him when my appointments were and he was there every time ON time ... It is good to hear that others have had the same experience with him ... He is a family man and lived in the US for a few years ... I am re-posting his email because this is one guy worth it ...

email: sermuz@latinmail.com or sermuz43@hotmail.com

PS...He also went with me to the opthamalogist and the optician who filled my prescription for glasses to serve as translator ... He is a true gentleman and I consider him a new friend ...

Does anyone know any good drivers that either drive a pickup or have a roof rack? I need to move my mattress to my new apartment and I'd rather not have to rent a truck to do it.

I could do something like that for you...

And I personally think I am the best driver in Costa Rica :)

If this is the same Sergio that is or was the house taxista at the Dunn Inn, I totally agree. Ask him about the Casa Zeller--he loves that place for dancing: http://www.casazeller.com/

Same guy

I use him and he is a good guy... will do a flat rate.. or meter...
One time I used him, he called me I am here, OK be right out... he was not there... he called back where or you Hank... He was at the place I told him I wanted to go????
Sorry amigo I will be there in 10 if you can wait?... Sure see you then.... Price to Los Yoses... A pinky even though he drove there 3 times

I have also sent him on erands... pick up bus tickets.. retrieve a chica, etc
He can try and give you a mild screwing if you let him

I give him a 8, and his english is good, and he will also tell you no if he is busy

As I understand it, that qualifies as straight-up honest in CR--no, I am not joining the CR Sucks Club, as one Brother has intimated but to overlook the prevailing ethos in Costa Rica is to bury your head deeply in the sand.

Anyone who answers the phone at the SL can set you up with Airport to hotel transportation.

The standard price is $25. Most of the drivers the SL use have vans. They are all independent operators but they cater to SL clients almost exclusively.

They will gladly show up with ice cold beer if requested as well.

Earl Montoya 8392 5660. he was hooked up with the del rey for years as one of their cabbies, but the bitch screwed him a few years ago before she got whacked, although unfortunately she's back, for now.

so he got his own cab and a very nice van. lived in the estados for a number of years so english is perfect, alot of guys on this board i am sure know him. he'll return your calls to the usa if you get his voicemail. highly recommended, knows all the ins and outs of all the bs in cr. got me my driver's license in about 3 hours.

but like everything else, always have plan b in place, be it for your favorita or whatever.
