After MG and 3rd, not much more advice on girls I could possibly give. However, I'd second Puerto Viejo as a destination. Very nice place, laid back and comfortable. Lots of things to do including an overnight stay at an Indian village that a client I had raved about. Good luck and have fun but take all the precautions MG and others laid out for you to have the best time possible!

Here's a quite complete description of the PV area including a mention of the BriBri Indian village (scroll down a bit for this): http://www.costaricaforless.com/destina ... -viejo.php

I agree that Jaco might be a better choice but if PV is the place, try our friend Colins' place:
