If you dispute the charges, its up to vendor to prove that they have a signature that matches the card and/or other proof that the cardholder was present for the purchase. It is usually the merchant that loses out of these deals.

Good point!!

Those back-charges can be a bitch, especially if the vendor is loosey-goosey.

I have stayed at HLH with no problem, the owner even bought us three rounds of drinks and stated that if we ever had a problem that it would be taken care of. I think he meant well when he stated this though there are problems that will arise that are going to be out of his control. He can't go around acusing employees without proof.I personally like the HLH and the talent is pretty good , Daisy is always helpful.Take it up with the CC and you will probably prevail.
I had an employee steal $3200.00 from the console of my truck. I couldn't prove that he did it, he was the last one in my truck when he made the delivery. Its my fault that I left it in there to begin with.I never saw the money again but it taught me a very important lesson(never trust anyone ever again).

I just got back from a 8 night stay and could not be happier.

Great room. Like the other guy said, great shower. You can see what you are getting before the deed!
Only drawback was lack of fridge. But they offered me the junior suite on monday, which had a fridge. When monday came around, the room was being rechaulked and bathroom was not able to be used. So the owner(I forgot his name) offered me the monster suite for the same price!!!!!! It had a steam sauna in it!!! i was goingt o take him up on the offer, but I am lazy and did not feel like repacking and moving up two flights of stairs. So i thanked him and stayed in my Standard Queen room.

NO theft at all. The maids were in and out of my room. There is a safe and all my money, wallet and passport was always locked up.

You are staying in a hotel. lock up what you do not want stolen. That is just a general rule of traveling.

By the way CRT gets 10% off hotel tab and 10% off drinks.
if you are NOT staying there, CRT members get 10.00 the girls. Total of $45 instead of $55

My only dislike was the 10 guest fee. Normally that is not a big deal. But considering that CR P4P are 1 or 2 hours, it is kind of a rip off if you take a few a day.
$10 for a guest fee is fine if girls were going to be TLN. But for 1 hour??

if they get rid of the guest fee for CRT members, I will stay there again. The dunn inn a block away has similar rates, but comes with breakfast and with a crt membership, guest fee is waived.

Hint #197. Most of the maids get paid 2 dollars per hour. You can give the maid as little as 2 dollars and they will be happy to move all your stuff with care. I have done this at many hotels.

I know. BUT I had a packed Tumi extra large wheeled duffel that weighed a ton. No maid in that place is lifting that up two flights of stairs!!

Plus i was dreading coming back late with a puta in tow and having to walk up those stairs

more like poker table! my room at Amastad was bigger then the poker room at the Dunn, but the bar looks cool... Guy seems like a real nice GUY! LOL...

now 45 an hour..... i love the steam room! to me its worth paying a little xtra... i discovered Idem on this trip, not THATS! a bargin!
