I began this post with the nachos. I like Chubbs, the bartends and waitresses work hard and keep the place hopping. Wouldn't eat the nachos again, but liked the wings and fingers...

Some of the best food in town at decent prices. Great chicken fingers, french fries, salads, BLT etc..... Try the buffalo salad. Three chichen strips on a salad for 3500, try to find that anywhere else.

Very obvious to me that Chubbs gets knocked on this board because they are not a sponser of CRT. If they were there would be dozens of complimentary threads praising the place.

Best happy hour in town also, 2 for one drinks and wine from 5pm to 7pm weekdays and always 6 beers for 5mil. Great location also.

The bad things are that it is so popular with Ticos you can hardly get a seat in the evenings, The owners girl friend manages the place . She is a rude woman who has screamed at some clients. Steve came onboard about a yr again and he handles the games on the TV. Great guy.

And no most Ticos do not like hot spicy food like buffalo sauce. They have that for the gringos.

In that case I'll try them out. Walked by there dozens of times and never walked in but I am a huge fan of a well crafted bloody mary. I have them trained at the Sportsmans how I like mine made.

I think it would be great and good for all of us if the CRT guys gained the reputation in CR of being gentlemen and straight shooters. I have to say that the occasional loudmouth bragging a**holes that I have run into down there have not been CRT members.
