not a mile from my shithole is a huge truckfarm ..typical of most in cr...everything is sprayed irrigated inundated with growth hormone and toxic pesticides chemical fertilizers from day one ...with a nice deluge of spiffy chemicals to enhance longevity just before harvesting...mostly done by nicas wading in the stuff up to their ankles and smoking a cigarette thru a hole in a cheap painters mask .... most ticos were just a little taller than george gobel or the average north korean ...twenty years ago...women began growing huge tits in pre pubescent stages...thanks to the massive use of antibiotics and dumping growth hormones into chicken and other critters..tico logic ...if a little is good ..a shitload is great...tainted everything is commonly available...yum...and passed off as organic if it looks weird or anemic...eat enough and youll have a head the size kelsy grammer in six months...or even better ..chemically develop the accelerated ego engorgement of sublimating the ingestion of tico logic and customary acceptance of ignorance condescencion and stupidity into enlightenment and proffered intellectual relevance...

Cartagena Colombia was the place that I got sick. It as back in the 80's and I had eaten at an upper class restaurant named Doris. Oysters Rockefeller was what did it. I was sick the next morning and was with people heading back to Bucaramanga, very long drive and made longer by the frequent stops so I could hurl ever 20 minutes. I was sick for 5 days, the absolute worst experience that I had been through regarding food poisoning. I still eat oysters but have not outside of the states anymore. Other than that I have never been sick from food in any of my travels apart from that and I eat at all the local out of the way places.
