Lets understand one thing. Businesses everywhere have management changes in every corporation, around the globe. Some for the better, some for the worse and some simply make no sense. We all agree 100000% that Boyd was a driving force at what made the Dunn Inn's growth so successful with the CRT community.
At the same time we have no idea what might have caused the relationship between the two to be terminated. Difference of opinions, thoughts on company direction, wagers, power, happen in industry and corporations everywhere. If the CEO of American Airlines removes someone do you stop flying AA. A simple example but true non the less. I will not get into why the powers that be choose to move in a new direction only change is inevitable. To simply make the statement to boycott a place because the Manager is no longer there will its short sighted.
I don't know what the future will be, if their CRT point person will be up to stuff, he won't be Boyd thats for sure, he had the pulse of the community and made it work. With that said, it would also be unfair to a venue that opens us with open arms, has a great new location and venue, and certainly still wants our business.
We are all extremely upset Boyd is no longer there, but let us not turn a blind eye here. Just my opinion you may all spend your dollars as you see fit.
I understand that you must be some what neutral in this new development with DI and hold your personal opinion until the truth of what transpired comes out. The only version I will believe is what Boyd posts. It's possible that Boyd can't discuss the details due to privacy as part of a termination with severance package and that's fine. If DI wanted to go a different direction they had better been very generous to Boyd given the one plus year he put is heart and soul into that place. What even makes this more disturbing is the fact that Boyd is a new father and If it turns out he was kicked to the curb with just his hat, well... that's a game changer.
